Rosen Zhelyazkov (; born 5 April 1968) is a Bulgarian politician and Speaker of the National Assembly of Bulgaria from 19 April 2023 until 25 April 2024. Career In 1994, he began his career as a legal advisor at the Sofia Municipality's Sredets district, where he has since held senior legal advisor, secretary, and mayoral deputy positions. From starting 1995, he is a civil and commercial lawyer. Between 1998 and 1999, he worked as deputy mayor for "Law and Control" of Lozenets district, Sofia Municipality. From 2003 to 2009 he was secretary of the Sofia Municipality. Later on he continued working as Secretary General of the Council of Ministers from 2009 to 2013. During the period 2014-2016 he was Prime Minister on Public Administration and e-Government. ''Dnevnik'' ( bg, Дневник) is a business-oriented Bulgarian daily newspaper, that is published Monday - Friday in Sofia since 2001.
