Valdir Sequeira
Valdir Sousa Sequeira (born 22 November 1981) is a Portuguese male volleyball player of Angolan descent. He is part of the Portugal men's national volleyball team. On club level he plays for Sporting CP since october 2017. Firstly he joined S.L. Benfica in 2001, followed by Académica de Coimbra where he played two seasons, after which he had his first experience outside of Portugal playing two seasons in Italy at Prisma Volley, where He Won the Italian A2 championship, going next to Germany where it makes an era in the General Haching. In 2007 Valdir returns to Portugal to represent Vitória SC Where they Won the Portuguese Championship, returning to Italy the following year where he plays for Monini Marconi Spoleto (07/08), Stamplast Martina Franca (08/09), Copra Volley Piacenza (09/10) where He Won the Italian SuperCoppa, Eurogroup Gela (10/11) and LB Casa Rurale Cantu (11/12). SC Espinho
Sporting Clube de Espinho, also known as Sporting de Espinho, is a Portuguese sports club from the city of Espinho in the Aveiro district. Besides football, the club has volleyball and handball departments that usually compete in the major Portuguese top leagues. Other sport departments are those in athletics, swimming and futsal. Sporting Clube de Portugal, founded Sporting Club de Portugal (), otherwise referred to as Sporting CP, often known abroad as Sporting Lisbon , is a Portuguese professional sports club based in Lisbon. The Portugal men's national volleyball team is the team representing Portugal in volleyball competitions. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. Gioiella Prisma Taranto is a professional Volleyball based in Taranto, Italy. It plays in Italian Volleyball League. It was created in 1997 under the name of Magna Grecia Volley, and now it is named Prisma Volley. History A first club was founded in 1997, by the president Antonio Di Battista, that moved the Magna Grecia Volley franchise from Matera to Taranto. The team, with the classical red and blu jerseys, start its first championship in Serie A2, achieving the promotion to Serie A1 at the end of 1999-2000 season. The team played two years in the first division with the sponsor names ''La Cascina'' and ''Vini Borgocanale'', before it went bankrupt.
