Urmia

Kalleh Mazandaran Volleyball Club ( fa, باشگاه والیبال کاله مازندران, Bâshgâh-e Vâlibâl-e Kâle-ye Mâzandarân) was an Iranian professional volleyball team based in Amol, Iran. The team was owned by Solico Group - Kalleh Company . They competed in the Iranian Volleyball Super League. The Payambar Azam Arena in Amol, Iran was the home ground of Kalleh. The team has won the Iranian Super League twice and the Asian Club Championship once. Kalleh was dissolved in 2014 due to financial issues but was refounded just a year later. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The Iranian Volleyball Super League (IVSL) is a professional volleyball league in Iran at the top of the Iranian volleyball league system. It was founded in 1975 as the Pasargad Cup, but after the Iranian Revolution it was renamed to the first Division. In 1997 the league system was revamped and the Iranian Super League was established. Paykan Tehran has won the most titles in the new Super League with 12 titles. History The first season of a national Iranian volleyball league was held in 1975 with 12 teams competing. Mir Saeid Marouf Lakerani ( fa, میرسعید معروف لاكرانی, born 20 October 1985) is an Iranian volleyball setter. He was the captain of the Iranian national team. He was named best setter at the 2014 World League and 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic qualifying tournaments, as well as most valuable player at the 2013 Asian Championship.
