Vahid Rahbani (; born April 18, 1979) is an Iranian actor, translator, director and playwright. He is best known for his role as Mohammad in Gando (TV series), ''Gando'' (2019–2021)''.'' He earned two Crystal Simorgh nominations for his performances in ''Expediency'' (2021), and ''A Relic of the South'' (2023). IRIB Tehran (), is a flagship television station in Tehran, Iran, owned and operated by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting. The channel is one of the newer television channels in Iran and was established on November 26, 1995. The channel was also referred to as ''Tehran Channel'' by the citizens of Tehran, as it was only available in Tehran. On 20 December 2014, the channel changed from a provincial to a national channel, adding programs focusing on the economy. David Harrower
David Harrower (born 1966) is a Scottish playwright who (as of 2005) lives in Glasgow. Harrower has published over 10 original works, as well as numerous translations and adaptations. Career Harrower's first play, ''Knives in Hens'', which premiered at Edinburgh's Traverse Theatre in 1995, was considered a critical and popular success. It deals with a relationship triangle in a rural setting, and a woman's internal quest to find out what she wants from life. Subsequent plays include ''Kill the Old Torture Their Young'' (Traverse, 1998), which follows a disparate group of characters across an unnamed city, mixing realism with poetry and fantasy. Nick Payne
Nick Payne (born 1984) is a British playwright and screenwriter. Known for his work on the West End and Broadway stage as well as for his film and television work, he has received nominations for a Laurence Olivier Award and a Tony Award. Payne studied at the University of York and the Central School of Speech and Drama before graduating from the Royal Court Young Writer's Program. Whilst working in the National Theatre Bookshop, he wrote his first play '' If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet'', which premièred in 2009. It was followed by ''Wanderlust'' in 2010. Brian Friel
Brian Patrick Friel (c. 9 January 1929 – 2 October 2015) was an Irish dramatist, short story writer and founder of the Field Day Theatre Company. He had been considered one of the greatest living English-language dramatists. (subscription required). Rambod Javan (; born 22 December 1971) is an Iranian actor, director, TV host and the author of many screenplays. Rambod Javan has made and directed a locally famous TV program, Khandevane. Khandevane has so far had 8 successful seasons. Career Javan began stage acting in 1991. Three years later, he came into the spotlight with a short role in ''The Spouses'' (1995) series and found fame after appearing in the series ''The Green House'' (1995). ''Khandevane'' or ''Khandevaneh'' ( (portmanteau of ''laughter'' and ''watermelon'') is an Iranian telecast directed by Rambod Javan. It first aired on 11 June 2014 on Nasim channel. The program is focused on showing that there should not be any reason not to laugh using various acts such as stand-up comedy.
