Vahid Aziz
Vahid Aziz oghlu Jafarov (, ; born November 23, 1945) is an Azerbaijani poet, translator, and publicist. He is member to the Union of Azerbaijani Writers and Union of Azerbaijani Journalists. Biography Vahid was born in Herher village in Armenia SSR. He started his career in 1967 with his first poem published in the "Literature and Art" newspaper. Vahid has more than 200 publications. More than 40 songs were composed for his poems. He is the author of the famous "Bayatılar" song by Brilliant Dadashova. The song has been covered, interpolated and sampled in songs by many artists. A poet is a person who studies and creates poetry. Poets may describe themselves as such or be described as such by others. Eldar Bahram oglu Mansurov ( / , ; born February 28, 1952) is an Azerbaijani musician, composer and songwriter. Early life He is a member of the Mansurov family, which has contributed immeasurably to the advancement of Azerbaijani composers and musical culture in general. His father was renowned musician and tar player Bahram Mansurov. Mansurov was accepted into the forte-piano division of the musical school in Baku named after Asef Zeynally after completing music school. He was accepted in 1974 to the Jovdat Hajiyev class at the Azerbaijan State Conservatory named for Uzeyir Hajibeyov, where he graduated with honors in 1979. People's Poet Of Azerbaijan
People’s Poet of Azerbaijan ( Azerbaijani: ''Xalq şairi)'' is the honorary title granted to the prominent poets of Azerbaijan for their contribution to the development of Azerbaijani literature. Assignment The honorary title "People's Poet of Azerbaijan" was established by Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 22, 1998, along with some other titles. The President of Azerbaijan confers the honorary title on his initiative, as well as on the proposal of the National Assembly and the Cabinet of Ministers. The title is awarded only to citizens of Azerbaijan. According to the decree, the honorary title of "People's Poet of Azerbaijan" cannot be awarded to the same person repeatedly. Union Of Azerbaijani Writers
The Union of Azerbaijani Writers () is the largest public organization of Azerbaijani writers, poets and publicists. It has over 1500 members at present. It was founded on June 13, 1934, when Azerbaijan was a part of the Soviet Union as the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic. History Prior to 1934, Azerbaijani writers grouped in variety of literary unions. In 1923, a group of writers formed the "İldırım" United Organization of Turkic Publicists and Poets. Later, in 1925, another organization known as "Qızıl qələmlər" (''Golden Pens'') was established uniting most writers and regularly conducting literary gathering events. The Union of Azerbaijani Writers was established on June 13, 1934. There were 93 members upon its registration. With its establishment, the organization also started publication of "Ədəbiyyat qəzeti" (Literature) newspaper. Translation is the communication of the meaning of a source-language text by means of an equivalent target-language text. Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU; ) is a public university, specialized in engineering, located in Baku, Azerbaijan. The University has 9 schools and 54 departments, 884 faculty members and approximately, 10.000 students.
