Vachinde
"Vachinde" () is an Indian Telugu-language song composed by Shakthikanth Karthick for the soundtrack of the 2017 romantic drama film ''Fidaa''. The song was sung by Madhu Priya and Ramky and written by Suddala Ashok Teja. Production and background Since the song required an authentic singer from Telangana, folk singer Madhupriya was chosen. The song is a wedding song and features Sai Pallavi in a magenta lehenga. Release Upon release, the music video was noted for Sai Pallavi's dances and facial expressions. In September 2018, the song received 150 million views on YouTube. It January 2019, the song received 170 million views and 1.4 million likes becoming the most viewed South Indian song, a record previously held by "Why This Kolaveri Di". ''Fidaa'' () is a 2017 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by Sekhar Kammula, and produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The film stars Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. The film marks Sai Pallavi's debut in Telugu cinema. The plot follows Varun, an NRI, and Bhanu, a spirited village girl, as their budding romance faces cultural clashes and personal challenges. Suddala Ashok Teja
Suddala Ashok Teja (born Gurram Ashok Teja; 4 April 1954) is an Indian poet and lyricist known for his work in Telugu cinema and Telugu literature. He has written lyrics for over 2200 songs. He won the National Film Award for Best Lyrics for the song "Nenu saitam" from ''Tagore'' (2004). He was selected as a brand Ambassador of Swachh Bharat, only poet from two Telugu states. He was awarded with a cash award of ₹1 crore at Telangana Formation Day celebrations in Parade Grounds, Secunderabad on 2 June 2025 for his contributions to the Telangana movement. Shakthikanth Karthick
Shakthikanth Karthick is an Indian composer who works in Telugu-language films and is known for his work for the film ''Fidaa'' (2017). Early life and career Shaktikanth grew up in Chennai and studied engineering at REC (Calicut). He worked as a keyboard programmer and in scoring for a few films including ''Avakai Biryani'' (2008) before making his debut as a composer with '' Ko Ante Koti''. He received his breakthrough with ''Fidaa'' (2017), which was set in Telangana. Shaktikanth credits the success of the film's music including the song " Vachinde" to director Sekhar Kammula who had a concrete vision of the setting of each of the songs. Sekhar Vulli VJ (born 7 November 1980), also known professionally as Sekhar Master and Sekhar VJ is an Indian dance choreographer who predominantly works in Telugu and Tamil cinema. SIIMA Award For Best Female Playback Singer (Telugu)
The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA Awards) rewards the artistic and technical achievements of the South Indian film industry.
