''Vachina Vaadu Suryudu'' () is a 2002 Indian Telugu-language action film directed by Mandava Gopala Krishna and starring Lakshmana Swamy, Vijayachander, Rahul, Lahari, Prasad Babu, Suthi Velu and Vizag Prasad while Krishna and Suresh make guest appearances. The film was released to mixed reviews. Cast Production The film's theme showcases human values, and was shot in six villages in Medak district. Krishna (Telugu Actor)
Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy (31 May 1943 – 15 November 2022), known mononymously as Krishna, was an Indian actor, director, and producer known for his work in Telugu cinema. In a career spanning more than five decades, he starred in over 350 films in a variety of roles. He is referred to as "Superstar" and "Nata Sekhara" in the Telugu media. In 2009, for his contributions to Indian cinema the Indian government awarded him the Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian award in the country. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Congress party in 1989. In 1997, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South in addition to Honorary doctorate from Andhra University in 2008. He died on 15 November 2022 due to cardiac arrest. Nandi Awards
The Nandi Awards are annual awards presented by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to recognise excellence in Telugu cinema, theatre, and television, as well as lifetime achievements in Indian cinema. Gudipoodi Srihari (8 September 1934 – 5 July 2022) was a journalist who worked as a film and art critic for ''Eenadu'' and later ''The Hindu''. Life and career Gudipoodi Srihari did his Bachelor of Science at Andhra University and his master's degree in Delhi University. He taught PUC students mathematics and physics. He was the writer for the ''Harivillu'' column of ''Eenadu'', which was a social commentary, for twenty-five years.
