Vaadat Charigim
Vaadat Charigim ( he, ועדת חריגים) is an Israeli Rock music, rock band formed in Tel Aviv in 2012. The band's line-up consists of Yuval Haring (guitar, vocals), Yuval Guttmann (drums) and Dan Bloch (bass guitar). The band's name is translated as "exceptions committee" and its lyrics are sung in Hebrew language, Hebrew. History Prior to the band's establishment, frontman Yuval Haring was a member of the Berlin-based band TV Buddhas. After returning to Israel, he decided to use his previously written songs for a new band and contacted Guttmann and Bloch. They started to rehearse in a rehearsal room located in the bomb shelter of an elementary school and named themselves "Vaadat Charigim". Treefort Music Fest
The Treefort Music Fest is a five-day, indie rock festival which is held at numerous venues throughout downtown Boise, Idaho in late March. The inaugural 2012 festival took place March 20–23 with the featured acts Built to Spill, The Joy Formidable, and Poliça. Treefort has been called "the west’s best SXSW alternative" and "Boise's preeminent artistic, cultural and musical happening" which has "morphed from quirky music festival to consuming community event." The Smiths
The Smiths were an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1982. They comprised the singer Morrissey, the guitarist Johnny Marr, the bassist Andy Rourke and the drummer Mike Joyce. Morrissey
Steven Patrick Morrissey (; born 22 May 1959), known professionally as Morrissey, is an English singer and songwriter. He came to prominence as the frontman and lyricist of Rock music, rock band the Smiths, who were active from 1982 to 1987. Since then, he has pursued a successful solo career. The Go-Betweens
The Go-Betweens were an Australian indie rock band formed in Brisbane, Queensland, in 1977. The band was co-founded and led by singer-songwriters and guitarists Robert Forster and Grant McLennan, who were its only constant members throughout its existence. Drummer Lindy Morrison joined the band in 1980, and its lineup would later expand to include bass guitarist Robert Vickers and multi-instrumentalist Amanda Brown. Vickers was replaced by John Willsteed in 1987, and the quintet lineup remained in place until the band split two years later. Forster and McLennan reformed the band in 2000 with a new lineup that did not include any previous personnel aside from them. The Feelies
The Feelies are an American rock band from Haledon, New Jersey. They formed in 1976 and disbanded in 1992 having released four albums. The band reunited in 2008, and released new albums in 2011 and 2017. Although not commercially successful, the Feelies had an influence on the development of American indie rock. Their first album, '' Crazy Rhythms'' (Stiff Records, 1980) was cited by R.E.M. as influencing their sound. The Feelies were influenced by The Beatles, the Velvet Underground and Lou Reed. The Feelies rarely worked with outside producers, although Peter Buck of R.E.M. co-produced their second album '' The Good Earth'', one of their most successful albums. Wild Nothing is an American indie rock/ dream pop band from Blacksburg, Virginia, formed in late 2009 by Jack Tatum. Slowdive is a British rock band that formed in Reading, Berkshire, in 1989.
