V Sports is a holding company that administers association football clubs. The company is jointly owned by American billionaire Wes Edens and Egyptian billionaire Nassef Sawiris, with a minority stake held by American investment firm Atairos. The company derives its name from Aston Villa F.C., Aston Villa, the flagship football club, and acts as the club's parent company. In addition to the men's and women's sides of Aston Villa, V Sports also owns a 29% stake in Portuguese side Vitória S.C. and a 25% stake in Spanish side Real Unión. V Sports also has partnership agreements with ZED FC of the Egyptian Premier League, Vissel Kobe of the J1 League. The clubs in the V Sports network share scouting resources, coaching methodologies, and youth development strategies. Nassef Sawiris
Nassef Onsi Sawiris (; born 19 January 1961) is an Egyptian businessman, and the youngest of Onsi Sawiris' three sons (his brothers are Naguib and Samih). As of October 2021, his net worth was estimated at US$8.7 billion, making him the richest Egyptian. Early life Nassef Sawiris received his secondary education from the Deutsche Evangelische Oberschule Kairo. He then continued at University of Chicago where he received a bachelor's degree in economics in 1982. Omar Khedr
Omar Khedr Ismail Ahmed Hamdin (; born 25 May 2006) is an Egyptian footballer who plays as a winger for Premier League club Aston Villa. Khedr is a product of the ZED and Zamalek academies. He joined Aston Villa in July 2024. Khedr has represented Egypt regularly at youth international level, most recently at U23 level, debuting aged seventeen.
