''VST'' is the debut studio album by the Manila sound group VST & Company, released on October 22, 1978. The lead vocalist, Vic Sotto, was not credited and does not even appear in the group's picture at the back of the album, but was thanked in the album credits along with Tito Sotto and Joey de Leon. Vicente Castelo Sotto, III (; born August 24, 1948), is a Filipino politician and television personality who is a Senate of the Philippines, senator-elect of the Philippines. He is the longest-serving senator in the history of the upper chamber, being the only one elected for five non-consecutive terms. Sotto served as the 23rd President of the Senate of the Philippines, president of the Senate from 2018 to 2022, which was preceded by two stints each as Majority Floor Leader of the Senate of the Philippines, Senate Majority Leader and Minority Floor Leader of the Senate of the Philippines, Senate Minority Leader. Valmar Castelo Sotto (; born March 23, 1945) is a Filipino actor, singer, composer, and comedian. He was one of the lead vocalists of the Filipino band VST & Company. He appeared as the lead actor in '' Agila'', which aired from 1987 to 1992 on RPN and ABS-CBN and produced by TAPE Inc. Ernesto Dela Peña (October 26, 1932 – March 12, 2024) was a Filipino composer and lyricist. Early life Dela Peña was born on October 26, 1932, in Paco, Manila. Career Dela Peña would start his career as a recording artist at Hidcor Recording Co. in 1956. He initially sang ''kundiman'' songs before shifting to being a lyricist. He would then work for Vicor Records for 30 years. In 2018 he would become associated with Star Music, a recording company owned by the Philippine media conglomerate ABS-CBN Corporation. Jose Maria Ramos de Leon Jr. (born October 14, 1946), professionally known as Joey de Leon and also known as Henyo Master, is a Filipino comedian, actor, television host and songwriter. VST & Company (commonly abbreviated as VST & Co. or simply VST) was a Filipino disco band from Manila, Philippines, founded by Vic Sotto, Spanky Rigor, and Tito Sotto. "Magsayawan" (English: ''Let's Dance'') is a song recorded by the Filipino disco group VST & Company, written by the songwriting team of Charo Unite and Ernie dela Peña. It was one of the group's biggest hits in the Philippines and was the only hit single not written by the group's principal songwriters, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon. It was recorded at Cinema Audio and released on the group's first album, '' VST'', in 1978. Although only released as a B-side of "Disco Fever", this song was one of the group's popular hits. The song's music video is in the 1979 film ''Swing It, Baby'' with other VST songs by Vilma Santos, Romeo Vasquez, Amy Austria, Tito and Vic & Joey.
