''VST'' is the debut studio album by the Manila sound group VST & Company, released on October 22, 1978. The lead vocalist, Vic Sotto, was not credited and does not even appear in the group's picture at the back of the album, but was thanked in the album credits along with Tito Sotto and Joey de Leon. Songs The album contained five of their biggest hits including the ballads "Ikaw ang Aking Mahal" ("You Are My Love") and "Ipagpatawad" ("Please Forgive") as well as the disco numbers "Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko" ("You Sing, I'll Dance"), "Disco Fever" and "Magsayawan" ("Let's Dance"). Vicente Castelo Sotto, III (; born August 24, 1948), is a Filipino politician and television personality who is a Senate of the Philippines, senator-elect of the Philippines. Ernesto Dela Peña (October 26, 1932 – March 12, 2024) was a Filipino composer and lyricist. Early life Dela Peña was born on October 26, 1932, in Paco, Manila. Career Dela Peña would start his career as a recording artist at Hidcor Recording Co. in 1956. He initially sang ''kundiman'' songs before shifting to being a lyricist. "Magsayawan" (English: ''Let's Dance'') is a song recorded by the Filipino disco group VST & Company, written by the songwriting team of Charo Unite and Ernie dela Peña. It was one of the group's biggest hits in the Philippines and was the only hit single not written by the group's principal songwriters, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon. It was recorded at Cinema Audio and released on the group's first album, '' VST'', in 1978. Although only released as a B-side of "Disco Fever", this song was one of the group's popular hits.
