The Vit (; ) is a river in northern Bulgaria, a right tributary of the Danube. Its length including the main stem Beli (White) Vit is 189 km, while the river proper, formed by the confluence of the Beli and Cherni (Black) Vit is 153 km. Vit Ice Piedmont in Antarctica is named after the river. The fish species Cottus haemusi, Vit sculpin of the genus ''Cottus (fish), Cottus'' is endemic to the Vit. Geography Course The main stem the Beli Vit is 36 km long and takes its source at an altitude of 1,595 m on the western foothills of the summit of Yumruka (1,819 m) at the boundary between the Zlatitsa–Teteven and the Troyan sections of the Balkan Mountains and flows in general direction northwest in a steep forested valley. Vit Ice Piedmont
Vit Ice Piedmont (, ) is the glacier extending 12 km in north-south direction and 6 km in east-west direction in Sostra Heights on the east side of northern Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. It is situated north of the end of Embree Glacier, east of Bracken Peak, southwest of Anchialus Glacier and south of the end of Newcomer Glacier. The glacier flows eastwards into Rutford Ice Stream. Christer Fredriksen (born 15 April 1972 in Kristiansand, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz guitarist. Biography Fredriksen is known from collaborations in a series of settings for many years. He studied music at the Agder University College with a Performing Masters in Rhythmical Music, and he has focused his research on sound, how different electric guitarists create their sound. He is a guitarist and composer with a distinctive sound and an ability to tell stories through his music. In 2011 he released his first solo album ''Urban Country'', with saxophonist Bendik Hofseth (Steps Ahead) as featured artist. This instrumental jazz album, with elements of other musical styles, was mixed and mastered at the Rainbow Studio in Oslo, by Jan Erik Kongshaug. The second album ''Trademark'' was released in 2014. Background The Future Sound of London began work on the album around the same time as they were finishing '' Tales of Ephidrina'', and the more complex, ambient direction they were taking resulted in ''Lifeforms''.
