V2 Presents
V2 Presents is a dance music concert production and promotion company, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. About V2 produces several larger scale music festivals annually. V2 also produces concerts and club events in various venues throughout Utah. History V2 Presents was founded in 2005 by partners Jeremy Moreland, and Brandon Fullmer. After five years of promoting concerts individually, and before V2 was founded, Jeremy and Brandon collaborated on a festival together known as ''Versus 2'', held on Saturday, August 20 in the Diamond Fork area of Spanish Fork Canyon in Utah County, Utah. Versus 2 was a fundamental part in the history of V2 due to the invasion by local SWAT team and Police who shut the festival down. Festival goers were able to capture video of the raid, and the videos went viral on the internet with worldwide exposure and controversy. Dance Music
Dance music is music composed specifically to facilitate or accompany dancing. It can be either a whole piece or part of a larger musical arrangement. In terms of performance, the major categories are live dance music and recorded dance music. Carl Andrew Cox (born 29 July 1962) is a British house and techno club DJ, radio DJ, motorsport team owner and record producer. He is based in Frankston, Victoria, Australia. Cox has won and been nominated for numerous awards. He has performed at numerous clubs and electronic music or dance events worldwide. Malcolm James McCormick (January 19, 1992 – September 7, 2018), known by the stage name Mac Miller, was an American rapper. Derek Vincent Smith (born November 25, 1981), known by his stage name Pretty Lights, is an American electronic music producer. Pretty Lights was originally a music project consisting of Smith and Michal Menert, who left after the release of their first album. Rick Rubin once described Pretty Lights as "the face and voice of the new American electronic music scene". Early life Smith started skateboarding with Michal Menert in the 8th grade. Sander Ketelaars (; born 28 February 1979), better known by his stage name Sander van Doorn () or the initials SvD, is a Dutch electro house DJ and record producer from Eindhoven. Above & Beyond are an electronic music group consisting of English musicians/DJs Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Finnish musician/DJ Paavo Siljamäki. Formed in 2000, they are the owners of London-based electronic dance music labels Anjunabeats, Anjunadeep and Anjunachill, and also host a weekly radio show titled ''Group Therapy Radio''. Joshua Kiekegaard Grant Steele (born 15 January 1989), known professionally as Flux Pavilion, is an English EDM producer, DJ, singer-songwriter and label owner. He started performing in 2008. Dada Life are a Swedish DJ duo formed in 2006, which consists of Olle Cornéer and Stefan Engblom. They have released three albums, a number of singles and remixes and one compilation.
