''Uyirukku Uyiraga'' () is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Vijaya Manojkumar and produced by Kovaithambi. The film stars Sharran Kumar, Sanjeev, Nandhana and Preethi Das. Plot Cast Production ''Uyirukku Uyiraga'' is the 25th film of Manoj Kumar and marks his return to directing after a sabbatical; with this film, he renamed himself Vijaya Manojkumar. It also marks the return of Kovaithambi to producing since ''Chembaruthi'' (1992); previously he launched a film named ''Yen Ippadi Mayakinay'' in 2008, which never released. The film, produced by Vendhar Productions, has cinematography by Anand Kumar. Punjabi actress Preethi Das plays a college girl in the film. Manoj Kumar (born 23 September 1955) is an Indian film director, producer and actor who has directed Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films and Tamil serials. He is the brother-in-law of Bharathiraja. Career After assisting Bharathiraja in various films, he made his directorial debut with ''Mannukkul Vairam'' (1986). Gaana (or Gānā) is a genre of Tamil music, which is sung in the Madras Bashai dialect of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
