Uwe Alzen
Uwe Alzen (born 18 August 1967) is a German racing driver specialised in touring car racing and sports car racing. Biography He won the 1992 Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, the 1994 Porsche Supercup and the 1995 Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft privateer ''B-Class'' championship. In 1996 he raced in the full Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft ''International Touring Car Championship'', driving an Opel Calibra V6. When this series was discontinued, he raced for Opel in the German Super Tourenwagen Cup. Alzen celebrated an apparent championship win in 1999 for Opel under controversial circumstances after a last corner incident involving his teammate Roland Asch and his main rival for the championship Christian Abt. Kirchen (Sieg) is a town and Luftkurort (climatic spa) in the district of Altenkirchen (district), Altenkirchen in the north of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Nils-Kristian "Kris" Nissen (born 20 July 1960 in Arnum) is a retired Denmark, Danish auto racing driver. For several years he was Volkswagen's motorsport director. Since the summer of 2013 he has had a career change and is currently owner and temporary manager of a Danish campingsite called Enderupskov in Southern Jutland. Single seater and sports car racing Nissen started racing in karting, and was twice Danish Champion in 1976 and 1977. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Teams of multiple drivers attempt to cover a large distance in a single event, with participants given a break with the ability to change during the race. Endurance races can be run either to cover a set distance in laps as quickly as possible, or to cover as much distance as possible over a preset amount of time. Jürgen Alzen (born 26 November 1962 in Kirchen, Rhineland-Palatinate) is a race car driving, driver from Germany. He drove one race in both the FIA GT Championship and the American Le Mans Series of 2001 for his own Alzen Porsche team. He has also raced in Australia appearing in both the 2002 Bathurst 24 Hour, 2002 and 2003 Bathurst 24 Hour races held at the Mount Panorama Circuit. Michael Bartels (born 8 March 1968) is a German professional racing driver. He is a multiple FIA GT champion and former Grand Prix driver who attempted to qualify for four races in with Lotus. Career Bartels was the 1985 German karting champion and the 1986 German Formula Ford 1600 champion. He competed in the German Formula Three Championship in 1988 and 1989, before stepping up to International Formula 3000 in 1990. Bartels filled in at Lotus for Johnny Herbert, who had commitments in Japanese Formula 3000, at four Grands Prix during the Formula One season, but failed to qualify at all four races. Bartels continued in F3000, finishing 4th in 1992, before switching to the DTM in 1994, where he continued to race until the series ended at the end of 1996.
