State Route 167 (SR-167) is a north–south state highway in Morgan and Weber counties in northern Utah, United States, that connects Weber Canyon at Interstate 84 (I-84), west of Mountain Green, with the Ogden Valley, near Huntsville. Nearly the entire route comprises Trappers Loop Road. Route description The route begins at the interchange with I-84 just west of Mountain Green in Morgan County, and travels east for about , roughly parallel to I-84. At this point, the route makes a turn to the north, becoming Trappers Loop Road, which begins to climb into the mountains separating Weber Canyon and the Ogden Valley. Mountain Green, Utah
Mountain Green is a census-designated place in northwestern Morgan County, Utah, United States. The population was 2,309 at the 2010 census. Located up the Weber River from Ogden, Mountain Green is the world headquarters of the Browning Arms Company. Geography Mountain Green lies in Morgan Valley at the east end of lower Weber Canyon, just north of I-84 at the interchange with Utah State Route 167 (Trappers Loop). The community is located in the northwest corner of Morgan County, and includes the lowest point in the county. History Deserters Point The present-day site of Mountain Green was the location of a historic meeting of three groups of mountain men in May 1825. Diamond Interchange
A diamond interchange is a common type of road junction, used where a controlled-access highway crosses a minor road. Design The freeway itself is grade-separated from the minor road, one crossing the other over a bridge. Approaching the interchange from either direction, an off-ramp diverges only slightly from the freeway and runs directly across the minor road, becoming an on-ramp that returns to the freeway in similar fashion. Utah State Route 5 (1920s-1962)
Interstate 84 (I-84) is a part of the Interstate Highway System that links Portland, Oregon, to I-80 near Echo, Utah. The segment in the US state of Utah is the shortest of any of the three states the western I-84 passes through and contains the eastern terminus of the highway. I-84 enters Box Elder County near Snowville before becoming concurrent with I-15 in Tremonton. The concurrent highways travel south through Brigham City and Ogden and separate near Ogden-Hinckley Airport. Pineview Reservoir
Pineview Dam is located in Ogden Canyon, east of Ogden, Utah, United States. Description Pineview Dam is located at the eastern end of Ogden Canyon at the confluence of the north, south, and center forks of the Ogden River. The western half of present-day Huntsville is located between the central and southern bays of Pineview Reservoir. State Route 158 crosses the dam and runs adjacent on the north and west, former State Route 166 on the north and east, and State Route 39 on the southeast and south. Utah State Route 39
State Route 39 (SR-39) is a state highway in northern Utah connecting Ogden to Woodruff via Ogden Canyon and Huntsville. The highway is on 12th Street in Ogden and the Ogden River Scenic Byway through Ogden Canyon. The route is over sixty-seven miles long. Prior to 1964, SR-39 was routed along 24th Street and Harrison Boulevard in Ogden. A change in the route moved the route north to 12th Street. Route description The route begins heading east from the intersection at 4700 West ( SR-134) as a two-lane highway in a relatively rural part of Weber County.
