Urve Tiidus
Urve Tiidus ( Uussaar; born 6 June 1954) is an Estonian politician, member of the Reform Party and former journalist. She was Minister of Culture in Taavi Rõivas's first cabinet. She has been a member of Riigikogu since 2011. Before that she served as the mayor of Kuressaare. Early life Urve Tiidus was born on 6 June 1954 in Rapla. She studied at Tallinn School No. 21 and graduated from the University of Tartu as an English philologist in 1977. After graduation, she started her career in television. She has also been a news anchor of Aktuaalne kaamera, a popular Estonian evening news programme on ETV. She was a spokeswoman for the Estonian voting results at the Eurovision Song Contests of 1994 and 1998. From 2005-2011, Urve Tiidus was the Mayor of Kuressaare. Aktuaalne kaamera (abbreviated AK) is an Estonian television news program shown in Eesti Televisioon. They first broadcast on March 11, 1956, which makes AK the oldest continuously running television program in Estonia. Since October 1958, AK broadcasts every day. Earlier, it was every week. The Government of the Republic of Estonia (''Estonian: Vabariigi Valitsus'') is the cabinet of Estonia. Andrus Ansip
Andrus Ansip (; born 1 October 1956) is an Estonian politician, a member of the European Parliament, the former European Commissioner for Digital Single Market and Vice President of the European Commission, in office from 2014 until 2019. Previously, he was Prime Minister of Estonia from 2005 to 2014 and chairman of the liberal Estonian Reform Party ( et, Reformierakond) from 2004 to 2014. Before his entry into politics Ansip trained as a chemist, before working in banking and business. He entered Parliament in 2004, quickly becoming Minister of Economic Affairs, and subsequently Prime Minister in April 2005. On 1 November 2014, he was appointed to the European Commission.
