Urs Linsi
Urs Linsi (born 29 June 1949) is a Swiss financial manager and sports official who served as Secretary General of FIFA (2002–2007) and chairman of Grasshopper Club Zürich (2010–2011). Early life Linsi studied economics and earned his PhD from the University of St. Gallen. He spent over 20 years at Credit Suisse, including a role as head of the leasing department. He played football in lower amateur leagues and university teams. After a knee injury ended his playing career, he worked as a football referee for two years. In the mid-1980s, he began participating in endurance sports, and in 1988, he competed in a triathlon in Hawaii. In 1989, he founded the Powerman Zofingen, a duathlon competition event. Wolfgang Niersbach (born 30 November 1950) is a German sports official and former sports journalist. From 2 March 2012 until 9 November 2015, he was President of the German Football Association (, DFB). Biography Niersbach played football in youth team of Düsseldorfer SC 99 and went to high school at the Görres-Gymnasium in Düsseldorf. After high school, he studied German studies and started volunteering in 1973 for the news agency Sport-Informations-Dienst. Theo Zwanziger (born 6 June 1945) is a German lawyer and sports official. He was the president of the German Football Association (DFB) from 2006 to 2012. For his contributions to German football, he received the Bundesverdienstkreuz in 2005. Career Theo Zwanziger was an amateur player for his local VfL Altendiez, playing there until 1975. He studied law in Mainz and graduated in fiscal and constitutional law. Between 1980 and 1985, he worked as a judge in Koblenz before joining the government of Rhineland-Palatinate as a representative of the CDU. Markus Kattner (born 24 September 1970 in Bayreuth, West Germany) is a German-Swiss business consultant and former association football executive. He served as acting Secretary-General of FIFA from September 2015 to May 2016, but was dismissed without notice after being accused of paying himself bonuses worth millions of US Dollars during a previous stint as FIFA's director of Finance.
