Urbano Ortega
Urbano Ortega Cuadros (born 22 December 1961), known simply as Urbano, is a Spanish former footballer who played as a midfielder. Over the course of 16 La Liga seasons (18 for his career), he amassed totals of 301 games and 16 goals, mainly for Espanyol and Barcelona. Club career Urbano was born in Beas de Segura, Province of Jaén. After starting out at Real Jaén and RCD Español, he signed with Catalonia neighbours FC Barcelona in 1982. He only started in two of his nine seasons during his Camp Nou spell, being mainly used as a backup. Subsequently, Urbano returned to Español for two more seasons, with top-flight relegation in 1992–93. Orlando Urbano (born 9 June 1984) is an Italian former football player who played as a defender. Club career Juventus Urbano started his career with Italian powerhouse Juventus FC, where he played for the club's youth sector. In 2004, he graduated from the Juventus youth system along with several other future prospects. For the first half of the 2004–2005 season, Juventus loaned the 19-year-old Urbano out to A.C. Reggiana, in the Italian third division, in order for him to gain experience at a professional level. With Reggiana, he managed 7 appearances as a center defender, his natural position. Matías Héctor Sebastián Urbano (born 16 February 1981 in Cipolletti, Argentina) is a former Argentine footballer, who played as a striker. Career Urbano began his career in his hometown playing for Club Cipolletti. He made his debut in first division with Talleres de Córdoba in 2001. He later moved to Colombia where he played for Real Cartagena before migrating to Ecuador to make appearances in the Serie A for Macará and consequently Deportivo Quito. In his first return to Argentina, he signed for San Lorenzo de Almagro, but he was relegated to the bench, playing only in one league game for the ''cuervos''. Struggling to get notice he finally decided to leave the club, and relocated to Mexico where he played for Club León during 2004 and Cruz Azul Oaxaca in 2005. Michael Urbano (born March 19, 1966 in Sacramento, California, USA) is a musician, programmer, and record producer. Career One of Urbano's first gigs was as a member of Bourgeois Tagg, a 1980s band that was fronted by Brent Bourgeois and Larry Tagg and included Lyle Workman as the guitarist. They had moderate success with their second album, ''Yo-Yo'', which was produced by Todd Rundgren, and featured the Top 40 hit, "I Don't Mind At All." When Bourgeois Tagg split, Michael, Larry, and Lyle recorded and toured with Todd Rundgren for his '' Nearly Human'' Tour. While with John Hiatt (1995–1999), Urbano toured extensively as one of Hiatt's "Nashville Queens" that included bassist Davey Faragher (Elvis Costello) and guitarist David Immergluck (Counting Crows). Urbano Barberini (1664 – 27 September 1722) was an Italian nobleman of the House of Barberini, third hereditary Prince of Palestrina and last legitimate male heir of the Barberini line from Pope Urban VIII. Biography Urbano Barberini was the fourth child of the marriage, of Maffeo Barberini and Olimpia Giustiniani, which had reconciled the Barberini with the papacy after the Wars of Castro and falling out with Pope Innocent X. He was a brother of Cardinal Francesco Barberini (Junior) and a cousin of Rinaldo d'Este, Duke of Modena whose mother, Lucrezia Barberini, was Urbano's aunt. At his father's death he inherited the Barberini comune of Palestrina and became the 3rd Barberini Prince of Palestrina. Like his father, he was made a Knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece (in 1687). Urbano Vilella Caldeira Filho (9 January 1890 – 13 March 1933), known as Urbano Caldeira, was a Brazilian football player and manager at Santos FC. His position was central defender. Career Born in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Caldeira moved to São Paulo after becoming an employee of the Brazilian customs agency. After representing Sport Club Germânia and Associação Atlética das Palmeiras, Caldeira joined Santos FC in 1913, when the club had its first season in football. Caldeira was a player-manager of Santos FC for two years, also helping in the construction of the club's stadium in 1916. In 1917, he retired, but remained with the club as a member of the board. In 1921, Caldeira was again appointed manager of Santos FC. He remained in the role until 1932, and died on 13 March 1933, one day after the club's first professional match. Urbano Pio Francesco Rattazzi (; 29 June 1808 5 June 1873) was an Italian statesman. Personal life He was born in Alessandria ( Piedmont). He studied law at Turin, and in 1838 began his practice, which met with marked success at the capital and Casale. His wife, Laetitia Marie Wyse Bonaparte, whom he married in 1863, was a noted French novelist and a grandniece of Emperor Napoleon I. Together they had one daughter: Romana Rattazzi (1871–1943). Rafael Urbano Lugo Colina (born August 12, 1962) is a Venezuelan former professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball as a pitcher from 1985 through 1990. Listed at 6' 0" (1.83 m), 185 lb. (84 k), he batted and threw right handed. Born in Punto Fijo, Falcón, Lugo was originally signed by the California Angels organization as a free agent in 1982. Urbano Antillón (born September 5, 1982) is an American former professional boxer. He challenged twice for a lightweight world title, and held the WBO– NABO and NABF super featherweight titles. Urbano Navarrete Cortés, S.J. (25 May 1920 – 22 November 2010) was a Spanish Roman Catholic cardinal, professor of canon law and former rector of the Pontifical Gregorian University. He was made a cardinal in 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI. Biography Cardinal Navarrete Cortés was born in Camarena de la Sierra, Teruel; his father was José Navarrete Esteban.
