Untold (horse)
Untold (23 March 1983 – 2005) was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. As a two-year-old she showed very promising form, winning two of her three races including the Fillies' Mile. In the following year she was campaigned exclusively at Group One level and emerged as a top-class middle-distance performer and stayer. She finished second in The Oaks and third in the Irish Oaks before recording her biggest success in the Yorkshire Oaks. She finished third when matched against male opposition and made favourite for the St Leger before ending her career by finishing sixth in the Champion Stakes. She had little success as a dam of winners. ''Final Straw'' is the third studio album and major-label debut by Northern Irish–Scottish alternative rock band Snow Patrol, released on 4 August 2003 in the United Kingdom and in 2004 in the United States. The album is notable for bringing the band their first mainstream success outside of their native countries of Northern Ireland and Scotland. In the 14 months following its release, a total of 5 singles were drawn from it. It is their first album to feature lead guitarist Nathan Connolly and their last with bassist Mark McClelland. The album was re-released in the UK in 2004 with two extra tracks, before being exported to the US (without the bonus tracks). Markings on horses are usually distinctive white areas on an otherwise dark base coat color. Most horses have some markings, and they help to identify the horse as a unique individual. Markings are present at birth and do not change over the course of the horse's life. Most markings have pink skin underneath most of the white hairs, though a few faint markings may occasionally have white hair with no underlying pink skin. Sandown Park is a horse racing course and leisure venue in Esher, Surrey, England, located in the outer suburbs of London. It hosts 5 Grade One National Hunt racing, National Hunt races and one Group One, Group 1 flat race, the Eclipse Stakes. Yarmouth Racecourse
Great Yarmouth racecourse is a horse racing course located a mile north of Great Yarmouth, owned by Arena Racing Company. The track takes the form of a narrow oblong of a mile and five furlongs round, with two long straights about five furlongs in length. It is a left-handed course, used for flat racing only. An extension to the finishing straight allows races of up to a mile to be run on the straight course. Sally Brown (1982 – 2000) was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. She was owned and bred by Robert Cowell and trained by Michael Stoute. She did not race as a juvenile but emerged as a top-class middle-distance performer in 1985, winning three of her six races including the Ribblesdale Stakes and the Yorkshire Oaks. She was retired at the end of the season and had modest success as a broodmare. Background Sally Brown was a "lengthy, angular" chestnut mare with a narrow white blaze and bred by her owner Robert Cowell at his Chevington Stud in Newmarket, Suffolk. She was one of the best horses sired by Posse, a Kentucky-bred stallion who won the St. James's Palace Stakes and Sussex Stakes in 1980. Greenham Stakes
The Greenham Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in Great Britain open to three-year-old colts and geldings. It is run over a distance of 7 furlongs () at Newbury in April. History The event is named after Greenham, the civil parish where Newbury Racecourse is located. It was established in 1906, and was initially contested over a mile. The race continued with its original length until the start of World War II. It was not staged from 1941 to 1948, and resumed with a distance of 7 furlongs and 60 yards in 1949.
