''Untitled (Pope)'' is a circa 1954 oil-on-canvas panel painting by the Irish-born, English artist Francis Bacon (painter), Francis Bacon, one in a series of many representations of popes he painted after Diego Velázquez's 1650 ''Portrait of Innocent X''. Bacon was a harsh self-critic and destroyed a great many of his own paintings, many of which were created under the influence of drink. This work was long thought lost until it reemerged on the art market in 2016. ''Untitled'' is a 1999 painting by Ellen Gallagher. It is in the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois in the United States. Keeping in the tradition of Gallagher's large-scale paintings, ''Untitled'' consists of black rubber which is texturized with paper on canvas. On the lower right of the painting, Gallagher used enamel and rubber to depict an African person, that she describes as a "fantasy." The viewer sees the back of the African person's head, with a mohawk hairstyle, tattoos and piercings. The painting was acquired by the Art Institute of Chicago in 2004. ''Untitled'' (Krol) is a public artwork by American artist Ronald W. Krol. It is located on the grounds of Pickwick Farms, an apartment complex in Indianapolis, Indiana. The artwork consists of three red rectilinear shapes intersecting each other and resting on concrete pads. Krol's work is one of several abstract pieces by Herron School of Art graduates that were commissioned in the mid-1970s by real estate developer Robert Born for the Pickwick apartments. Description ''Untitled (Krol)'' is made of multiple painted metal panels, most likely steel, that have been welded together and painted red. This abstract sculpture rests on concrete pads and is surrounded by a circular bed of mulch. Information Little is known about the sculpture or the artist. Donald Judd's progression sculptures are a series of wall sculptures created between 1964 and the 1970s. Each work is similar in form, with Judd's choice of material varying depending on the date of production. Donald Judd, Judd based each work on a simple mathematical sequence such as the Fibonacci Sequence. He typically called the works ''Untitled'', sometimes adding the word ''progression'' to the title. Judd, along with fellow artists, Dan Flavin and Mel Bochner, was interested in the minimalist notion of Serial art, seriality or serial progression rather than the more classical relational method of composition.
