Frida Hyvönen
Anna Frida Amanda Hyvönen (born 30 December 1977) is a Swedish singer-songwriter. Personal life Hyvönen grew up in Robertsfors, located outside Umeå in the north of Sweden (which is also the hometown of her cousin Josephine Forsman's band ''Sahara Hotnights''). Her Finnish grandfather was from Rovaniemi. She moved to Stockholm in 1995. Between 2010 and 2012, she resided in Paris. Today, she shares her time between Stockholm and her house in Västerbotten. Career Hyvönen's first record, '' Until Death Comes'', was recorded at Atlantis Studios in Stockholm and co-produced with Jari Haapalainen of The Bear Quartet. The record was released in the EU in 2005 on The Concretes record label Licking Fingers, in the United States in 2006 on Secretly Canadian and in Australia in 2007 on Chapter Music. Atlantis Studios
Atlantis Studios is a recording studio at Karlbergsvägen 57 in Stockholm. Founded in 1959 as Metronome Studios, it is the location of early recordings of the members of ABBA prior to the formation of the group, as well as the majority of the group's hit singles and recordings by The Cardigans, Roxette, Opeth, The Hives, and others. History Metronome The premises opened in 1941 as the 330-seat Kadetten cinema. Two years later, its name was changed to Terry. The theater closed in 1959. The same year, the Metronome record label converted the premises into a recording studio. The studio was run by Anders Burman and Börje Ekberg sound engineers Gösta Wiholm and Rune Persson. Among the first recordings made in the new studio were with Siw Malmkvist and Owe Thörnqvist. Secretly Canadian is an American independent record label based in Bloomington, Indiana, part of the Secretly Group. The Secretly Group includes record labels Dead Oceans and Jagjaguwar as well as a music publisher known as Secretly Publishing, representing artists, writers, film makers, producers, and comedians. History Secretly Canadian was founded in 1996 by Chris and Ben Swanson, Eric Weddle, and Jonathan Cargill while they attended Indiana University. Before Secretly Canadian was founded, Chris Swanson and Eric Weddle met in 1995 in Indiana University's campus radio station, WIUX. Then Chris met Jonathan Cargill through a job at the Collins Living-Learning Center cafeteria on campus. Chapter Music
Chapter Music is one of Australia's longest-running independent record labels. Chapter Music has worked with a broad range of mostly Australian artists, in genres such as rock and roll, indie pop, post punk, country and western and folk.
