Universal Music Indonesia, formerly Suara Sentral Sejati and PolyGram Indonesia, is an Indonesian company based in Jakarta. Founded in 1987, the company is a branch of Universal Music Group. This company has produced several successful singers on the Asian music scene such as Marion Jola, Tiara Andini, Ziva Magnolya, Keisya Levronka, and Lyodra. Currently, artists under Universal Music Indonesia tend to focus more on Indonesian Idol alumni, starting from 2012. Previously, this record company had managed several artists who were popular with the teenage generation in the middle to upper segment, such as RAN, Raisa Andriana or Ecoutez. Gigi (pronounced ) is an Indonesian rock band led by founder, Armand Maulana, and songwriter Dewa Budjana. Formed in March 1994, the band has released fifteen studio albums. Four Seasons was Indonesia's first Mandarin-language boyband. It debuted in 2002 following the wave of Mandopop craze in early 2000 brought about by popular Taiwanese boyband F4. Although referred to as a boyband, in contrast to common boyband and pop-band practices, members of Four Seasons categorically composed their own songs. Seringai
Seringai is a metal band from Jakarta, Indonesia. The band was formed in 2002 by vocalist Arian13, guitarist Ricky Siahaan, bassist Sammy Bramantyo, dan drummer Edy Khemod. History 2002–2008: Formation and debut album Arian13 and Ricky Siahaan decided to form a new band after Arian13's previous band Puppen disbanded, with Khemod and Toan subsequently joining them. Toan quit the band in 2004 and was replaced by Sammy Bramantyo. Their first EP entitled ''High Octane Rock'' was released in 2004. The title was a self-description of their particular style, listing Black Sabbath, Motörhead, MC5 and Slayer among their influences. Seventeen (Indonesian Band)
Seventeen was an Indonesian pop rock band, formed in 1999 in Yogyakarta. Seventeen was performing in a tent at Tanjung Lesung resort on 22 December 2018 when the 2018 Sunda Strait tsunami struck the stage from behind. Bani, Herman, Andi, a crew member, and their on-road manager were killed. Ifan, the only surviving member, announced his solo career. History The band was formed by Yudhi Rus Harjanto, Herman Sikumbang, Zulianto "Zozo" Angga, and Windu Andi Darmawan who attended a private high school in Yogyakarta.
