Universal Channel (Turkish TV Channel)
Universal Channel was a Turkish pay television network, owned by Universal Networks International, a division of NBCUniversal. The network was launched in Turkey in December 2009 on D-Smart and in February 2010 on Teledünya. From March 1, 2011, the Channel is also available in its HD version exclusively on D-Smart Platform. Universal TV broadcasts TV series and movies produced by Universal Studios, Warner Bros. International Television, 20th Century Studios and Paramount Pictures. It has aired many series for first time on Turkish TV, such as ''Law & Order'', '' Flashpoint'' and '' Trauma''. Also part of the programming are non-scripted shows such as ''Flipping Out'' and ''Million Dollar Listing''. Flashpoint (TV Series)
''Flashpoint'' is a Canadian police procedural television series created by Mark Ellis and Stephanie Morgenstern for CTV, CBS and Ion Television. The series starred Hugh Dillon, Amy Jo Johnson, David Paetkau, Sergio Di Zio, and Enrico Colantoni. The series premiered on CTV in Canada on July 11, 2008. In the United States, the first three seasons and part of the fourth were aired on CBS from July 11, 2008, until August 19, 2011. The show then aired on Ion Television starting on October 18, 2011, with the eighth episode of the fourth season. Internationally, the series was distributed by Alchemy Television and Tele München Group. On January 25, 2011, it was announced that Ion Television had acquired all rights to the show held by CBS, including the option to continue production. ''Mars Attacks!'' is a 1996 American science fiction film, science fiction black comedy, black comedy film directed by Tim Burton, who also co-produced it with Larry J. Franco. The screenplay by Jonathan Gems was based on the Topps trading card Mars Attacks, series of the same name.
