Unitel Pictures is a Philippine independent film production company. History The film company was established in 2001 by Tony Gloria. ''American Adobo'', co-produced with Star Cinema, was its maiden movie. Prior to establishing Unitel, Gloria served as supervising producer of Viva Films from its inception to 1987 and executive producer of Viva's subsidiary Falcon Films in 1988. In 1988, he left Viva and established his own film company ''Filmstar'', known for releasing a slew of Joey de Leon's hit movies ''Elvis and James'' (1989) and ''Barbi for President'' (1991). In 1993, Filmstar closed and Gloria focused solely on TV commercials. In 2003, Unitel began producing and distributing its own movies. Unitel (Angola)
Unitel S.A. is a private Angolan mobile phone company which was established on 8 March 2001 as a joint-stock company. The company is owned by the Angolan state, having been nationalised in 2022. Operations and location The seat of the company is Luanda. It has about 2.000 employees and a network coverage nearly in all the provincial municipalities since 2002. Unitel sells its services via a network of shops; recharging cards for pre-paid contracts are also sold by individual street sellers all over Angola. Prepaid cards can also be recharged via the Multicaixa network of ATM's. Unitel claims to have 9 million customers out of a population of estimated 18 to 20 million people. Unitel Bolivia
UNITEL (UNIVERSAL DE TELEVISIÓN) is a Bolivian commercial television network headquartered in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, La Paz and Cochabamba, Bolivia. It was founded in 1987 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra as Teleoriente, which in 1997 created the current network and bought two Telesistema Boliviano stations. It is owned by businessman Osvaldo Monasterio Nieme. The company broadcasts sports, entertainment, political programs, and daily news programs nationwide in the South American country. As of 2020, it claimed to have the largest viewing audience. Allstream Inc. is a business communications provider based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, that provides Internet Protocol (IP) connectivity, managed IP services, unified communications and voice services to its customers in the United States and Canada.
