Unirea Bascov
Asociația Club Sportiv Unirea Bascov, commonly known as Unirea Bascov, is a Romanian professional football club based in Bascov, Argeș County and currently playing in the Liga III. History The club was founded in 2007 as AS Valea Ursului and competed in Liga V – Argeș County, the fifth tier of Romanian football. After finishing 2nd in the 2010–11 season of the Center 1 Series, 1st place was claimed the following season, earning promotion to Liga IV – Argeș County. The first two seasons in the fourth tier resulted in a 4th-place finish in the 2012–13 season and a 2nd-place finish in the 2013–14 season. In 2014, the team merged with AS Bascov to form Unirea Bascov. Led by coach Alin Lipa in the 2014–15 season, Unirea Bascov won the county championship but missed out on promotion to Liga III after a 2–4 aggregate defeat to FC Aninoasa, the champion of Dâmbovița County. The 2022–23 Liga III will be the 67th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season will begin in August 2022 and is scheduled to end in June 2023. This season is the third consecutive with a format that will include 100 teams (10x10). The format was changed two seasons ago, due to the financial problems generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. 2019–20 Liga III
The 2019–20 Liga III was the 64th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season was initially scheduled to begin on 24 August 2019 and to end on 30 May 2020. The season was interrupted on 9 March 2020, after 16 rounds, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania, COVID-19 pandemic. After two months of inactivity, on 11 May 2020, the Romanian Football Federation announced that the season was discontinued and the best ranked teams from each series (after 16 rounds) were promoted to Liga II, only if the distance between the leader and the runner-up was bigger than 3 points. Otherwise promotion play-offs will be played between the best two teams of the series. Pavel Adrian Dulcea (born 25 November 1978) is a former Football in Romania, Romanian Forward (association football)#Striker, striker and business manager. Club career Dulcea started his career in his hometown in the 1995/96 season, at FC Râmnicu Vâlcea in the Romanian Second League. He was offered a contract by U.S. Salernitana 1919, Salernitana after an international tournament played in Naples by his team but his family declined the offer. After leaving Râmnicu Vâlcea in 1998 followed a period of almost ten years spent only with teams from Ardeal, with one exception, the 2001/02 season, where he spent time with the Hungarian teams Győri ETO FC, Györi and BFC Siófok, Siófok.
