Union Omaha
Union Omaha Soccer Club is an American professional association football, soccer team based in Omaha, Nebraska. Nicknamed the Owls, the team made its debut in USL League One (USL1) in 2020. In the clubs first five seasons, the Owls finished in first place in the league three times and defeated two MLS sides during the 2022 U.S. Open Cup. Along with those achievements, Union Omaha won the league championship in just the second season of the club's existence and again in 2024. History In 2019, USL1 awarded a franchise to Alliance Omaha Soccer Holdings to begin play in the 2020 USL League One season, 2020 season. Werner Park is a Minor League Baseball, minor league ballpark in eastern Nebraska, the home of the Omaha Storm Chasers (the Triple-A (baseball), Triple A affiliate of Major League Baseball's Kansas City Royals) and USL League One professional soccer club Union Omaha. Spokane Velocity FC is an American professional Association football, soccer club based in Spokane, Washington. The Velocity compete in USL League One, the third tier of the United States soccer league system, U.S. soccer pyramid, and play home matches at One Spokane Stadium. Downtown Omaha is the central business, government and social core of the Omaha–Council Bluffs metropolitan area, U.S. state of Nebraska.
