Unifi Mobile (stylized as unifi MOBILE) is a Malaysian internet service provider and the country's sixth mobile network operator. Originally known as Packet One Networks (P1), the company was founded on 11 February 2002 and is currently a subsidiary of the national telephone company, Telekom Malaysia. Overview Unifi Mobile operates 4G WiMAX, 4G LTE, and 4G LTE-A networks, and provide domestic roaming with Maxis with 4G and 2G EDGE networks. Unifi TV (formerly known as hyppTV, stylized as Unifi tv prior to January 2018) is an IPTV service operated by Unifi. It was launched in 2010 as part of Unifi's bundled service offering of VoIP telephone, Internet and IPTV. History An early version of Hypp TV, running through TM's Streamyx broadband service in the Klang Valley, launched in September 2004. Hypp TV launched on 22 March 2010, providing about 20 channels and 200 hours of on-demand movies and TV series. On 1 November 2010, Hypp TV began charging RM 10 for its premium channels and video-on-demand from RM 8. In 2010, the Hypp TV service was available to over 16,000 residential customers, rising to 750,000 in 2016. unifi Sports (formerly HyppSports HD) is an in-house subscription IPTV network in Malaysia dedicated to broadcasting sports-related content 24 hours a day. It is available exclusively on unifi TV. Kwasha Lipton was an employee benefits consulting firm located in Fort Lee, New Jersey. History The firm was founded in 1944 by H. Charles "Chick" Kwasha and Maurice Lipton. Kwasha Lipton is best known for creating a type of defined benefit pension plan called a cash balance plan (CBP), which it designed for the employees of Bank of America in 1985.
