Uncanny X-Force
''Uncanny X-Force'' was a comic book ongoing series published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Rick Remender and artist Jerome Opeña, the first volume of the series continued the story of Wolverine (character), Wolverine and his X-Force team from the series ''X-Force (comic book), X-Force,'' vol. 3. The title was relaunched after issue #35 as part of the Marvel NOW! relaunch event, and the new volume features Betsy Braddock, Psylocke and Storm (Marvel Comics), Storm leading a new team of "outcasts and scoundrels". The second volume was one of two X-Force ongoing titles, along with ''Cable and X-Force''. Publication history ''Uncanny X-Force,'' vol. 1, was launched in October 2010 in comics, 2010 to replace ''X-Force'', vol. 3. Cable And X-Force
''Cable and X-Force'' was an ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics that began in February 2013, as part of Marvel NOW! The series finds Cable awakening after ''Avengers vs. X-Men'' and on the run with his new team of X-Force from the Uncanny Avengers. The series was replaced by X-Force Volume 4. Publication history In mid-September, 2012, Marvel Comics announced that a new title ''Cable and X-Force'' would be published in December, headed by the creative team of Dennis Hopeless and Salvador Larroca. The series harkens back to the early days of the original X-Force: Cable leads a fugitive team consisting of Domino, Colossus, Forge and Doctor Nemesis, against the newly formed Uncanny Avengers, led by Cable's uncle, Havok. Simon Spurrier
Simon "Si" Spurrier (born 2 May 1981) is a British comics writer and novelist, who has previously worked as a cook, a bookseller, and an art director for the BBC. Getting his start in comics with the British small press, he went on to write his own series for '' 2000 AD'', like '' Lobster Random'', '' Bec & Kawl'', '' The Simping Detective'' and '' Harry Kipling'', as well as a number of stories for the flagship character ''Judge Dredd''. In recent years he has broken into the American comic book industry, writing mainly for Marvel Comics. He also wrote Marvel's ''X-Force'' in 2014 and 2015, which starred the characters Cable, Psylocke, Marrow and Fantomex. Spiral (Rita Wayword) is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually those featuring the X-Men family of characters. Created by writer Ann Nocenti and artist Art Adams, the character first appeared in ''Longshot (Marvel Comics), Longshot'' #1 (September 1985). She was established as a lieutenant for that titular character's archenemy, Mojo (comics), Mojo. Puck is the codename of two fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The two characters are a father and daughter pair, who are both members of Alpha Flight, in the Marvel Universe. Publication history The first Puck debuted in ''Alpha Flight'' #1 (Aug 1983) and was created by John Byrne. He had intended for the original Puck to be a dwarf with no superhuman powers, merely great fighting and acrobatic skills; subsequent writer Bill Mantlo retconned Puck's small stature as being due to mystical influences. Byrne commented on this, stating, "Of course, antlothen went on to do the 'origin' of Puck, with the whole 'demon inside' thing being based, apparently, on the single reference Puck had made to being in constant pain, something which Bill failed to grasp was an effect of the condition — achondroplasty, called by name in the same issue that referenced the pain — which caused Puck's dwarfism." Fantomex is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Grant Morrison and artist Igor Kordey, the character first appeared in '' New X-Men'' #128 (August 2002). Fantomex is an escaped experiment from the Weapon Plus Program. He was designated as Charlie Cluster-7 while growing up in a high tech facility.
