Uncanny Avengers Annual
''Uncanny Avengers'' was a comic book series first appearing in the October 2012 debut of Marvel NOW!, published by Marvel Comics. The series follows an interconnected fictional superhero team, featuring members from the Marvel Universe (specifically the Avengers and X-Men). The team is united by Captain America upon the conclusion of ''Avengers vs. X-Men.'' Uncanny Avengers is also known as Avengers Unity Squad. John Cassaday
Johnny Mac Cassaday (; December 14, 1971 – September 9, 2024) was an American comic book artist, writer, and television director. He was best known for his work on the critically acclaimed ''Planetary (comics), Planetary'' with writer Warren Ellis, where his art style conveyed a sense of realism despite that book's fantastical settings. His later works included ''Astonishing X-Men'' with Joss Whedon, ''Captain America (comic book), Captain America'' with John Ney Rieber, and ''Star Wars (2015 comic book), Star Wars'' with Jason Aaron. Marvel Now! (stylized as Marvel NOW!) is a comic book branding for the relaunch of several ongoing comic books published by Marvel Comics, that debuted in October 2012 with new #1 issues. The relaunch also included some new titles, including ''Uncanny Avengers'' and '' All-New X-Men''. Gerry Duggan (; born 1973) is an American comics writer, director and photographer living in Los Angeles. Early life Duggan was born in New York City and raised in Ridgewood, New Jersey, where he graduated from Ridgewood High School (New Jersey), Ridgewood High School in 1992.
