Umesh Pandey
Umesh Pandey () is a Thai journalist and politician, currently serving as Thai Trade Representative. Umesh previously served as editor of the Bangkok Post and an adviser to the Pheu Thai Party economic policy committee. He also served as a vice-minister under prime minister Srettha Thavisin. Career Umesh was editor of the Bangkok Post from July 2016 to May 2018. He was forced to resign by the newspaper's board of directors after he refused to curtail criticism of Thailand's military-led government. Paetongtarn Shinawatra (, , ; born 21 August 1986) is a Thai politician who is the 31st prime minister of Thailand since 2024 and leader of the Pheu Thai Party since 2023. A member of the Shinawatra family, she is the youngest child of the 23rd prime minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, and a niece of the 28th prime minister, Yingluck Shinawatra. The Thai Raksa Chart Party (, , ), officially known in English as the Thai Save the Nation Party, was a Thai political party. History The party was established in 2009 under the name Rath Thai Party. The party underwent a series of name changes throughout its existence, renaming itself to Thai Ruamphalang Party in 2010, before adopting its current name per the decision of the party's assembly at its convention in 2018. The Constitutional Court (, , ), officially the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Thailand, is a Thai court created by the 1997 constitution with jurisdiction over the constitutionality of parliamentary acts, royal decrees, draft legislation, as well as the appointment and removal of public officials and issues regarding political parties. The current court is part of the judicial branch of the Thai national government. The court, along with the 1997 constitution, was dissolved and replaced by a Constitutional Tribunal in 2006 following the 2006 Thai coup d'état.
