Ultraseven (character)
is a List of Japanese television series, Japanese ''tokusatsu'' Science fiction on television, science fiction television series created by Eiji Tsuburaya. It is the second entry (third overall) in the Ultra Series and was produced by Tsuburaya Productions. The series aired on TBS Television (Japan), Tokyo Broadcasting System from October 1, 1967 to September 8, 1968. Premise In the not-too-distant future, Earth finds itself constantly under attack from extraterrestrial threats. To combat them, the Terrestrial Defense Force establishes the Ultra Garrison, a team of six elite members who utilize high-tech vehicles and weaponry. Bio Planet WoO
is a Kyodai Hero tokusatsu series produced by Tsuburaya Productions, that premiered April 9, 2006 and aired at 7:30pm on NHK and ran for 13 episodes. ''WoO'' was one of many unused ideas created by Eiji Tsuburaya as story connecting to the show ''Ultra Q''. The story revolves around a living creature which came from a comet named WoO; in the series, WoO is befriended by a young girl named Ai; both are chased by a mysterious organization called ''SWORD'' who sees WoO as a threat to humanity. At the same time, giant monsters have invaded in search of WoO. The story itself follows the original script Tsuburaya intended for the show. Battle In Outer Space
is a 1959 Japanese science fiction action film directed by Ishirō Honda, with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya. Plot In 1965, a series of mysterious and devastating incidents are happening on Earth. These incidents range from a railroad bridge levitated off the ground causing a train wreck in Japan; an ocean liner lifted out of the Panama Canal by a waterspout, destroying it; severe flooding in Venice, Italy; and the destruction of the J-SS3 space station. A UN-connected international meeting is called at the Space Research Center in Japan. Major Ichiro Katsumiya, Professor Adachi and Dr. Richardson open the conference and describe the disasters, adding that the survivors suffered from extreme frostbite. ''Men into Space'' (a.k.a. ''Space Challenge'' in later US syndication) is an American black-and-white science fiction television series, produced by Ziv Television Programs, Inc., that was first broadcast by CBS from September 30, 1959, to September 7, 1960. is a 1966 Japanese ''tokusatsu'' ''kaiju'' television series created by Eiji Tsuburaya, first broadcast on Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) on January 2, 1966 and having its twenty-eighth and final episode aired on December 14, 1967. This series was the first entry in Tsuburaya Productions long-running ''Ultraman'' franchise, whose eponymous character would be introduced in the following and more popular series, ''Ultraman'' (1966). ''Ultra Q'' can be described as a half-hour Toho kaiju series. Executive producer Eiji Tsuburaya intended this series to be more like the American television series ''The Twilight Zone'' and ''The Outer Limits'', featuring a variety of strange and unusual stories. was a Japanese television and film director best known outside Japan for the 1960s tokusatsu TV series '' Ultraman'' and '' Ultraseven'', as well as for his auteur erotic ATG-produced Buddhist trilogy , , and . was a Japanese film and television director, producer, and cinematographer. The eldest son of Eiji Tsuburaya, he began his career on the 1954 film, ''Godzilla (1954 film), Godzilla'' and its sequel, ''Godzilla Raids Again'' as an assistant special effects cinematographer. Early career In 1959, Tsuburaya joined TBS Television (Japan), TBS Television as a production director.
