Ullal Thangal
Sayyid ˈAbdur-Rahmān al-Bukhāri (; 1920 – 1 February 2014), known as Ullal Thangal and honoured with the title Tājul Ulamā , was an Indian Islamic scholar. He was the President of Samastha, Jamia Sa-adiya Arabic College, Principal of the Sayyid Madani Arabic College, Ullal, and the Qazi of Ullal. He was a prominent member of the Samastha until the split of the Sunnis in 1989 and the Samastha's AP faction thereafter. His resting place is in Ettikulam, Kannur Kannur (), formerly known in English as Cannanore, is a Cities in India, city and a municipal corporation in the state of Kerala, India. Sunni Islam () is the largest branch of Islam, followed by 85–90% of the world's Muslims. Its name comes from the word ''Sunnah'', referring to the tradition of Muhammad. The differences between Sunni and Shia Muslims arose from a disagreement over the succession to Muhammad and subsequently acquired broader political significance, as well as theological and juridical dimensions. Ullal
Ullal or ''Uḷḷāla'' is a City Municipality at Mangalore, educational, commercial & industrial hub in Dakshina Kannada district. It is located 10 km from the Mangalore City centre. Ullal City Municipality along with the Mangalore City Corporation forms the continuous Mangalore urban agglomeration area which is currently the fourth biggest in Karnataka after Bangalore, Mysore and Hubli-Dharwad.
