Ukraine In The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019
Ukraine was represented at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Gliwice, Poland with the song "The Spirit of Music" performed by Sophia Ivanko. Their entrant was selected through an internal selection, organised by the Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 was the seventeenth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organised by Telewizja Polska (TVP) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). It was held on 24 November 2019, at the Gliwice Arena in Gliwice, Poland, following the country's victory at the contest in Minsk, Belarus, with the song "Anyone I Want to Be", performed by Roksana Węgiel. Ukraine has been represented at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest since 2006. Ukrainian public broadcaster UA:PBC, has been responsible for the participation. History Ukraine won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song " Nebo" performed by Anastasiya Petryk. Anastasiya Ihorivna Petryk (born 4 May 2002, known known by the diminutive Nastya) is a Ukrainian singer. She won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song "Nebo (Anastasiya Petryk song), Nebo", becoming the first Ukrainian entrant to win the competition. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 was the sixteenth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organised by the National State Television and Radio Company of Belarus, Belarusian Television and Radio Company (BTRC) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
