Forward to Europe ( sr-cyrl, Правац Европа, Pravac Evropa, abbr. PE), initially known as United ( sr-cyrl, Уједињени, Ujedinjeni), was a parliamentary group in the National Assembly of Serbia and City Assembly of Belgrade. The parliamentary groups were composed of parties that took part in the United for the Victory of Serbia (UZPS) coalition in the 2022 Serbian general election. In the National Assembly, the parliamentary group was headed by Marinika Tepić, while in the City Assembly of Belgrade, it was headed by Mila Popović. United for the Victory of Serbia ( sr-cyrl, Уједињени за победу Србије, Ujedinjeni za pobedu Srbije, abbr. UZPS) was an opposition electoral alliance in Serbia that participated in the 2022 Serbian general election. The alliance was preceded by the Alliance for Serbia and United Opposition of Serbia (UOPS) coalitions, both of which had existed between 2018 and January 2021. Coalition parties temporarily suspended their cooperation after the dissolution of UOPS, although they resumed cooperation around June 2021. The coalition was officially renewed in November 2021 and formalised in February 2022, under the name United Serbia to prepare for the 2022 general elections. The Party of Freedom and Justice (, abbr. SSP) is a social democratic List of political parties in Serbia, political party in Serbia. It is led by Dragan Đilas. Founded in 2019 as the merger of the Green Ecological Party – The Greens and Serbian Left (2015), Serbian Left, SSP was a member of the Alliance for Serbia (SZS), a coalition of opposition political parties that was initiated by Đilas in 2018. 2022 Serbian General Election
General elections were held in Serbia on 3 April 2022 to elect both the president of Serbia and members of the National Assembly. Initially, parliamentary elections were scheduled to be held in 2024; however, in October 2020 president Aleksandar Vučić said that snap parliamentary elections would be held in or before April 2022. In addition to the general elections, local elections were held simultaneously in 12 municipalities and 2 cities, including Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) came to power after the 2012 election when it formed a coalition government with the Socialist Party of Serbia. The United Trade Unions of Serbia "Sloga" (, abbr. USS Sloga) is a trade union and a left-wing political organisation in Serbia. It was founded in 2008 and has been headed by Željko Veselinović since its foundation. History United Trade Unions of Serbia "Sloga" was formed in 2008 by Željko Veselinović. Marinika Tepić
Marinika Tepić (;, ; , born 8 August 1974) is a Serbian politician. She is a vice-president of the Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP) and a prominent opponent of President of Serbia, Serbian president Aleksandar Vučić and the governing Serbian Progressive Party (SNS). Tepić was secretary for sports and youth in the government of Vojvodina from 2012 to 2016 and has served several terms in the National Assembly of Serbia. Dejan Bulatović ( sr-Cyrl, Дејан Булатовић; born 8 February 1975) is a Serbian politician who has been a member of the National Assembly since 2022.
