''Ujaalaa Raasthaa'' is a Maldivian television series developed for Television Maldives in association with UNFPA. Directed by Mohamed Shareef and Muawiyath Anwar, the series narrates the journey of two best friends in three generations. Television Maldives
Television Maldives is the public service broadcasting TV channel of the Maldives. It was formed on March 29, 1978. Zeenath Abbas
Fathimath Zeenath (born 14 August 1978), commonly known as Zeenath Abbas is a Maldivian actress. She has established a career in Maldivian films and is the recipient of a Gaumee Film Award. Making her screen debut alongside Reeko Moosa Manik in the song "Edheythee Reethi Moona", her first film release was Mohamed Rasheed directed drama film '' Kuhveriya'' (1998). Ahmed Saeed (actor)
Ahmed Saeed is a Maldivian film actor and director. Career 1997–2010: Debut and early releases On 13 June 1997, Saeed made his screen debut in a video single alongside Hassan Afeef and Mariyam Nisha. Afterwards, he played a role in Yoosuf Rafeeu's ''Dhiriulhumakee Mieebaa?''. He made his official film debut in Fathimath Nahula's debut direction ''Fahuneyvaa'' (1998), starring opposite Hussain Sobah, Jamsheedha Ahmed and Mariyam Nisha which portrays the love-conflict of a man between a prominent stage performer and a deaf-mute poor girl. Ali Shameel
Ali Shameel is a Maldivian film actor and director. Career In 1986, Shameel took part in a stage-play titled CDS-6, alongside Kashima Shakir, Mohamed Rasheed and Chilhiya Moosa Manik which was appreciated among the audience and he continues to feature in several other stage dramas. Chilhiya Moosa Manik
Moosa Manik commonly known as Chilhiya Moosa Manik (30 January 1940 – 24 August 2021) was a Maldivian film actor and writer. Early life In 1977, while studying at Majeediyya School, Manik participated in the theatre play performed to celebrate the Golden jubilee of Majeediyya School. He then joined several other theatre performances as a hobby though his first priority lies in sketching and drawing, followed by writing. His most notable performance as a theatre artist includes his role as Viyazor; the administrative chief of the Portuguese kingdom who invaded and ruled over Maldives. Hassan Afeef is a Maldivian film actor. He is celebrated as the actor being featured in the first Maldivian film and song. He is also noted to be the actor to have worked with most directors away from home and acted in most films that were shot abroad.
