Ugbo
Ugbo is one of the few aborigines east of the River Niger, Nigeria, and has existed in its current location dating back to the Ancient History (3000 BC – AD 500). The town is known for its natural habitat, including serene hills, caves, large rocks and stones, rivers, forests, wild animals, and fertile lands. Ugbo is the ancestral home to many towns in Igboland. Ogulugu (which later split into Ugbo and the neighboring Obeagu community) is the oldest son of Ewa, the original progenitor of nearby communities, including Amoli, Agbudu, Isu-Awaa (Ewa), Ituku, and Ogbaku. The Ewa (Awaa) kindred, together with Ntuegbe, make up what is known as Mbanabor clan in Awgu LGA of Enugu State. Based on 2006 census, the population of Ugbo is projected to be about 32,000. Enugu State
Enugu () verbally pronounced as "Enụgwụ" by the Igbo indigenes is a state in the South-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria, bordered to the north by the states of Benue and Kogi, Ebonyi State to the east and southeast, Abia State to the south, and Anambra State to the west. The state takes its name from its capital and largest city, Enugu. The city acquired township status in 1917 and was called Enugwu-Ngwo. Due to the rapid expansion towards areas owned by other indigenous communities, it was renamed Enugu in 1928. Mmaku
Mmaku is a town in the Awgu local government area of Enugu State, Nigeria. The name Mmaku means "Welcomer" or "Embracer". Another derivation comes from the English language, and it means "beauty of wealth." Mmaku communities include Enugwu Agu, Affam, Ifite, Amagu, Otokwu, okwoluofia,and Ezioha. Achi is a town in Oji River Local Government Area in Enugu State, in southeastern Nigeria. Geography Achi is the largest town in Oji River, a Local Government Area of Enugu State. Awgu is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Enugu State, Nigeria. Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) is the first Pentecostal church present in Nigeria. It arose in the first half of the 20th century, in the then-British Empire. The Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology is a higher education institute located on Victoria Island in Lagos, Nigeria. It is a monotechnic approved by the National Board for Technical Education. The College was originally known as the Federal School of Fisheries, established in 1969 as a vocational training institute for Nigeria's in-shore fishing fleet.
