Udaan () is 1997 Hindi-language action film directed by Asrani and starring Rekha, Saif Ali Khan, Prem Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Dalip Tahil, Asrani, Deven Varma, Annu Kapoor, Mohnish Bahl. Plot A wealthy industrialist is killed by a villainous trio. The industrialist's daughter Varsha slowly starts to unravel the truth about her father's death, she is disposed of to an asylum. Varsha eventually escapes from there and sets out to bring the villain to justice, getting help along the way with a few inmates that escaped with her and from a young man named Raja, who she had attempted to help before being institutionalized. The film also deals with subjects like adulteration, corruption, and injustice in society. ''Udaan'' ( ''Flight'') is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language coming-of-age drama film directed by Vikramaditya Motwane in his directorial debut. It was produced by Sanjay Singh, Anurag Kashyap, and Ronnie Screwvala under their production companies Anurag Kashyap Films and UTV Spotboy, respectively. Written by Motwane and Kashyap, the film stars debutante Rajat Barmecha, Ronit Roy, Aayan Boradia, Ram Kapoor, Manjot Singh, and Anand Tiwari. It follows the story of a teen who is forced to live with his oppressive father back home after he is expelled from boarding school. Motwane wrote the script in 2003, but could not find a producer. Udaan Campaign
UDAAN is an initiative by CBSE to enable disadvantaged girl students to transit from school to post-school professional education specially in Science and Mathematics. As part of this initiative, CBSE will support 1000 disadvantaged girls per year and provide them free online resources in Class XI and Class XII. Those selected will be provided tablets that have preloaded content, in addition to regular tutorials, assessments and study materials. There will also be regular tracking and monitoring of student development with feedback to parents, besides interactive sessions with teachers and peers.
