Ubud District (Indonesian: ''Kecamatan Ubud'') is a district (''kecamatan'') in Gianyar Regency, Bali, Indonesia. Its area is 42.38 km2 and the population was 69,323 people as of 2010 census; the latest official estimate (as at mid 2019) is 74,320.Badan Pusat Statistik, Jakarta, 2020. but at any given time there are large numbers of temporary residents and tourists. Neighboring districts are: Tegallalang and Payangan districts to the north, Tampaksiring district to the north-east, Sukawati district to the south, all four within Gianyar Regency, and Abiansemal district of Badung Regency to the West. Gianyar Regency
Gianyar Regency is a regency (''kabupaten'') in the Indonesian province and island of Bali, Indonesia. It has an area of 368.0 km2 and had a population of 469,777 at the 2010 Census, and 515,344 at the 2020 Census, making it the second most densely populated district in Bali (after Badung). Tampaksiring
Tampaksiring is a town in central Bali, Gianyar Regency, Indonesia. As of the 2010 census, the area was 42.63 km2 and the population was 45,818; the latest official estimate (as at mid 2019) is 48,740. It is the home to the Gunung Kawi Temple and archaeological site and the Senang Hati Foundation. The word "Tampak" in Balinese means foot, while "Siring" means Oblique. According to the legend the slope of the mountain where the town stands today, was created by footstep of a king named Mayadenawa. Badung is a regency of Bali, Indonesia. Its regency seat is in the upland town of Mangupura.
