The United States of America Cricket Association (USACA), headquartered in Miami Beach, was the national governing body for all cricket in the United States, until it was replaced by USA Cricket in 2019. The board was formed in 1965. USACA was an Associate Member of the International Cricket Council until June 23, 2017, when it was expelled following an ICC Board recommendation in April and a Dispute Resolution Committee hearing before the Honourable Michael Beloff Queen's Counsel, QC. History The ''American Cricketer'' magazine attempted to create The Cricketers Association of the United States in 1895, but this was rejected by clubs. "The magazine wrote that there were 300 clubs in existence around that time. Needless to say, this association did not take root," wrote Venu Palaparthi. Darren Beazley
Darren Beazley is an Australian businessman and sports administrator. Early life Darren Beazley was born in Nambour in Queensland, but spent his formative years in Geraldton, Western Australia, where he graduated from high school and later university. He was an accomplished sportsman playing Australian Rules Football with Swan Districts Football Club and cricket with the Midland Guildford, Claremont Cottesloe and Scarborough Cricket Clubs, winning an A Grade Premiership with Scarborough in 1994/5. Career After earning his MBA from Edith Cowan University, Beazley went on to serve as a manager or board member at various private companies, charities, and sports clubs.
