Union Of The Russian People
The Union of the Russian People (URP) (russian: Союз русского народа, translit=Soyuz russkogo naroda; СРН/SRN) is a loyalist far-right nationalist political party, the most important among Black-Hundredist monarchist political organizations in the Russian Empire between 1905 and 1917. — p. 71–72. Since 2000s organizational cells of the Union are being revived in Russia as well as Ukraine (Union of the Russian People (2005)). Founded in October 1905, its aim was to rally the people behind ' Great Russian nationalism' and the Tsar, espousing anti-socialist, anti-liberal, and above all antisemitic views. By 1906 it had over 300,000 members. Its paramilitary armed bands, called the Black Hundreds, fought revolutionaries violently in the streets. United Republican Party (Kenya)
The United Republican Party (URP) was a political party in Kenya. History The party was launched by William Ruto, in conjunction with several Kenyan politicians allied to a faction of Orange Democratic Movement opposed to Raila Odinga, as their vehicle for the March 2013 general elections. The party's launch was announced after a week of meetings on 15 January 2012. In December, Ruto and the leaders of several other political parties signed a pre-election coalition deal, in which he became a running mate for Uhuru Kenyatta and URP received half the spoils of an election victory. The party subsequently joined the Jubilee Alliance, which nominated Kenyatta for the presidency. In the elections Kenyatta was elected president, whilst the URP emerged as the third-largest party in Parliament, winning 12 seats in the Senate and 76 in the National Assembly. United Resources Party
The United Resources Party is a political party in Papua New Guinea. Foundation, Agiru and Akoitai's leadership It was established in December 1997 by Southern Highlands Governor Anderson Agiru, who became the inaugural leader. Its platform emphasised equitable returns from resource development. The party initially supported Bill Skate as Prime Minister, although they later withdrew their support. It grew through the course of 1998, with four MPs in August, five in October, and six in December: Agiru, Masket Iangalio, Peter Ipatas, Alfred Kaiabe, Charles Luta and Roy Yaki. Ipatas defected to the People's Democratic Movement in April 2001. Agiru was dismissed from office and banned from public office for three years in January 2002 after being found guilty of misconduct by a leadership tribunal, and failed in repeated attempts to overturn the ban to allow him to contest the June 2002 election. United Rhodesia Party
The name United Rhodesia Party and the acronym, URP, refer to two political parties in Southern Rhodesia. The first was the party, led by Sir Godfrey Huggins, and which in 1933 came to power in the colony. It was informally known as the United Party. In 1957 it merged with the Federal Party to become the United Federal Party (UFP). The second is the party founded and led by former UFP premier of Southern Rhodesia, Sir Garfield Todd, during the time in which Southern Rhodesia was one of three territories within the Central African Federation (CAF).
