UP Gaurav Samman
UP Gaurav Samman or Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Samman is a civilian award presented by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, India. It recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions in various fields, including arts, culture, literature, education, science, technology, sports, and social service. The award is aimed at honoring excellence and promoting the cultural, intellectual, and economic development of the state and the nation. Currently one of the top civilian honors in India, the recipients are awarded a citation, a state emblem made in brass and a cash prize. There have been two recipients of the award so far. Naveen Tewari, Founder and CEO of InMobi and Ritu Karidhal, Dr Ritu Karidhal Srivastava, a senior ISRO scientist, were the first two recipients of the honor. Yash Bharati Award is the highest civilian award of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Instituted in 1994, it is awarded to those personalities whose contribution is remarkable in the field of literature, social work, medicine, film, science, journalism, handicrafts, culture, education, music, drama, sports, industry and astrology. Yash Bharati Award These awards were first given in 1994. The winners were given a commendation letter, a shawl and Rs 1 lakh. In 2005–06, the U.P. Government increased the cash award amount to Rs 5 lakh. The awards were stopped between 1995 and 2003 and again from 2007 to 2012. Ritu Karidhal Srivastava is an Indian scientist and aerospace engineer working in the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Yogi Adityanath
Yogi Adityanath (born Ajay Mohan Singh Bisht; 5 June 1972) is an Indian Hindu monk and politician. He is currently serving as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh since 19 March 2017, became the first to hold the office for two consecutive terms and the state's longest-serving chief minister in a single continuous tenure.
