The University of Nevada, Reno (Nevada, the University of Nevada, or UNR) is a Public university, public Land-grant university, land-grant research university in Reno, Nevada, United States. The Union for the New Republic (, , UNR) was a Gaullist political party in France, formed in support of Charles de Gaulle in the 1958 elections. History The UNR won 189 of 466 seats in the November 1958 elections. In 1962, the UNR grouped with the Gaullist Democratic Union of Labour (French: ''Union démocratique du travail, UDT'') to form the UNR-UDT. They won 233 seats out of 482, slightly less than an absolute majority. 35 Independent Republicans boosted their support. In 1967, UNR candidates ran under the title Union of Democrats for the Fifth Republic (''Union des démocrates pour la Ve République, UD-Ve''), winning 200 out of 486 seats. The Ukrainian People's Republic (UPR) was a short-lived state in Eastern Europe. National University Of Rwanda
The National University of Rwanda (NUR; , , UNR) was the largest university in Rwanda. It was located at in the city of Butare and was established in 1963 by the government in cooperation with the Congregation of the Dominicans from the Province of Quebec, Canada. Its founder and first rector was Father Georges-Henri Lévesque. When it was established, the NUR had three divisions (Faculties of Medicine and Social Sciences, and a Teacher Training College), 51 students and 16 lecturers. The university suffered badly during the genocide and had to close in 1994, reopening in April 1995. At that time English was introduced as a medium of instruction alongside French. In 2013, along with all public higher education institutions in Rwanda, it was merged into the newly created University of Rwanda.
