Tomares
Tomares is a municipality in Andalusia, southern Spain. It is a Seville suburb of over 25,000 inhabitants situated two kilometers west of Triana District of Seville, separated from the city by River Guadalquivir. It is surrounded by other municipalities of the Comarca of Aljarafe, whose boundaries are reduced to a single street, forming a conurbation. Roman hoard In 2016 construction workers uncovered a hoard of ancient Roman coins in Zaudin Park. The bronze coins were stored in 19 amphoras while newly minted, and are stamped with inscriptions of emperors Maximian and Constantine. Some were originally coated in silver. Tercera Federación
Tercera Federación, previously known as Tercera RFEF, is the fifth tier of the Spanish football league system. It is below the ''La Liga'', ''Segunda División'', and its fellow semi-professional divisions '' Primera Federación'' and ''Segunda Federación''. It was founded in 1929 as the third tier, and dropped down to the fourth and fifth tiers in 1977 and 2021, respectively. History On 6 May 2020, the RFEF announced the creation of a new, two-group, 40-team third division called Primera División RFEF, which caused the former third and fourth divisions, Segunda División B and Tercera División, respectively, to drop down a level and change into Segunda División RFEF and Tercera División RFEF; the changes were made effective for the 2021–22 campaign. The 2024–25 Tercera Federación season is the fourth for the Tercera Federación, the national fifth level in the Spanish football league system. It consists of 17 groups with 18 teams each, and one group with 19 teams. The 2021–22 Tercera División RFEF season was the first for the national fifth level in the Spanish football league system. The league has 18 groups like the former fourth tier Tercera División. Competition format *The group champions were promoted to 2022–23 Segunda División RFEF. *The next four eligible teams in each group played in the promotion play-offs. *The champion of each group qualified for 2022–23 Copa del Rey. The 2020–21 Copa del Rey was the 119th staging of the Copa del Rey (including two seasons where two rival editions were played). The winners were assured a place in the 2021–22 UEFA Europa League group stage. Both the winners and the runners-up qualified for the four-team 2022 Supercopa de España. Real Sociedad were the defending champions, having won the postponed final of the previous edition, which was held two weeks before the 2021 final. They were already eliminated by Real Betis in the round of 16 of the 2020–21 edition, before the previous final had been played.
