UD Las Rozas Boadilla
Unión Deportiva Boadilla Las Rozas is a futsal club based in Las Rozas–Boadilla del Monte in Spain. Its home games are held in Pabellón Municipal, which has a capacity of 1,000 seats. History The club was founded in 2004 through a merger of Atlético Boadilla FS and CFS Las Rozas, taking the place of Atlético Boadilla in División de Honor. Las Rozas finished the 2004–05 season in 15th position, and was relegated to Division de Plata. In 2008, the club was forced to play in Primera Nacional A, due to economic limitations. In 2009, they reached an agreement with Ciudad de Móstoles FS to play home matches in Móstoles, playing as ''Boadilla Las Rozas/Móstoles Mirasierra''. The partnership agreement ended in the summer 2011. For the 2011–12 season, UD Las Rozas Boadilla did not play with a first team, playing only with youth teams. The Primera División is the premier professional futsal league in Spain. It was founded in 1989 with the name of División de Honor. Administered by Liga Nacional de Fútbol Sala, it is contested by 16 teams and is played under UEFA rules. Futsal is a variant of association football played between two teams of five players each on a court smaller than a football pitch. Its rules are based on the Laws of the Game of association football, and it also shares similarities with five-a-side football and indoor soccer. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. The players mainly use their feet to propel a ball around the court with the objective of scoring goals against the opposing team by moving the ball beyond the goal line into the opposing team's goal. A futsal match consists of two periods of 20 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins; an equal number of goals scored results in a draw. Futsal is played with a smaller and heavier ball than association football, and usually indoors on a hardcourt surface marked by lines. The Segunda División B de Futsal formerly known as ''Primera Nacional A'' is the third professional futsal pyramid in Spain. It was founded in 1989 and is managed by the CNFS of the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The ''Segunda División B de Futsal'' consists in 9 groups. Every group corresponds to one or two Spanish regions. There are in total 147 approx. teams. When finishing the regular season in every group, the top team of each group and the four runners-up with highest scores play the promotion playoffs to Segunda División.
