U.S. Sanremese Calcio
Società Sportiva Dilettantistica Sanremese Calcio, commonly referred to as Sanremese, is an Football in Italy, Italian association football club, based in Sanremo, Liguria. The historical U.S. Sanremese was liquidated in 1987. The present-day club was established in 2015. Currently it plays in Serie D. History From 1904 to 1987 The club was founded in 1904 as ''U.S. Sanremese'', but the football team was founded only in 1911. The US Sanremese was born by the merger of the first two local teams: the ''Ausonia'' and the ''Speranza''. The team played three seasons in Serie B from 1937–38 to 1939–40 when they were relegated in Serie C. In the 1937–38 season gets the 9th place in Serie B that is the best result ever in club history. Modena (, ; ; ; ; ) is a city and ''comune'' (municipality) on the south side of the Po Valley, in the Province of Modena, in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. The Coppa Italia Dilettanti (Italian for: Italian Amateurs Cup) is an annual knock-out competition for teams from the fifth and sixth levels of Italian football: the Eccellenza and the Promozione. All ties except for the final, which is held at the Stadio Flaminio in Rome, are played on a home-and-away basis. The cup-winners are also awarded promotion to Serie D, the fourth-ranked league. Prior to the 1999–2000 season the competition also included teams from Serie D. The Prima Categoria is the seventh level (since 2014–15) in the Italian football league system and is organized by the National Amateur League by the Regional Committees. 2011–12 Lega Pro Seconda Divisione
The 2011–12 Lega Pro Seconda Divisione season was the thirty-fourth football league season of Italian Lega Pro Seconda Divisione since its establishment in 1978, and the fourth since the renaming from Serie C to Lega Pro. It was divided into two phases: the regular season, and the playoff phase. Historically, the league was composed of 54 teams divided into three divisions of 18 teams each. This year, due to a significant reduction in qualified teams, it was decided that the league would be composed of 40 teams divided into two divisions (''gironi'') divided geographically. Serie C2 was the fourth highest football league in Italy, the lowest with a professional status. History Before the 1978–79 season, there were only three professional football leagues in Italy, the third being Serie C. The league menaging the C was also organizing the semi-professional Serie D. In 1978, it was decided to split the Serie C into Serie C1 (the third highest league) and Serie C2, moving the remnants of the Serie D to the amatorial sector as Campionato Interregionale. Upon its inception in 1978–79, Serie C2 consisted of four groups of 18 teams, with two promotions and three relegations. The Promozione (, "promotion") is the sixth level in the Italian football league system. Each individual league winner within the Promozione level progresses to their closest regional league in the Eccellenza level. Depending on each league's local rules, a number of teams each year are relegated from each league, to the 7th level of Italian football, the Prima Categoria. This level of Italian football is completely amateur and is run on a regional level. The Seconda Categoria is the 8th level (since 2014–15) in the Italian football league system. Each individual league winner within the Seconda Categoria level progresses to their closest regional league in the Prima Categoria level. Depending on each league's local rules, a number of teams each year are relegated from each league, to the 9th level of Italian football, the Terza Categoria.
