Unione Sportiva Castelnuovo Garfagnana are an Italian association football club, based in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, Tuscany. The club was founded in 1922. Stadio (literally, ''Stadium'') is an Italian pop rock band formed in 1977. The members are Giovanni Pezzoli (drums), Roberto Drovandi (bass guitar), Andrea Fornili (guitar), and Gaetano Curreri (vocals and keyboard). Formation and early recordings The group had a long-standing arrangement as an accompanying band to Lucio Dalla, a Bologna-born singer. Castelnuovo di Garfagnana is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Lucca, Toscana, central Italy. It is located at the confluence of the Serchio and the Turrite Secca rivers, close to the intersection of roads passing through the Apennine Mountains and the Apuan Alps. The local economy is based mainly on the production of cereals and on the chemical and textile industries. History The first mention of the locality is in an official document dating back to the 8th century with the name of "Castro Novo" (new fortified settlement). The Eccellenza (, "excellence") is the fifth level (since 2014–15) of Italian football. It is a regional league, composed of 28 divisions divided geographically. All 20 regions are represented by at least one division except for Piedmont and Aosta Valley which share 2 divisions. Veneto, Tuscany, Sicily, Emilia-Romagna and Campania also have 2 divisions each, while the regions of Lombardy and Lazio have 3 divisions. Lega Pro Seconda Divisione was the fourth highest football league in Italy, the lowest with a professional status. Rovigo Calcio is an Italian association football club from Rovigo, Veneto. History The club was founded in 1893. In the 2005–06 season of Serie D, Rovigo finished first in Girone D, winning direct promotion to Serie C2, returning to a professional league for the first time in 56 years.
