Unione Sportiva Dilettantistica Sebinia Alto Sebino (founded in 1940s and know only as Sebinia) is an Italian football team located in Lovere, between Val Camonica and Lake Iseo, in the province of Bergamo. It currently plays in the Group C of Promozione (Italian 7th level) but in past, named of Sebinia Lovere, it plays two years in Serie C (Italian 3rd level) and three in ''Promozione Interregionale'' (at the time Italian 4th level) during the 1940s and 1950s. History The club was founded in the 1940s with the name of Sebinia Lovere. It was begun with the intention to become the most important football team of Lake Iseo. After World War II the team might play, in season 1948, in Serie C, Italian 3rd level. The season started with the 0–0 against A.C. Monza Brianza 1912, Monza. Lovere
Lovere (Bergamasque: ) is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Bergamo, in Lombardy, northern Italy, at the northwest end of Lake Iseo. The houses in the city have overhanging wooden roofs, typical of Switzerland, combined with the heavy stone arcades of Italy. It lies on a lake and is flanked by a semicircle of mountains. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy"). The Promozione (, "promotion") is the sixth level in the Italian football league system. Each individual league winner within the Promozione level progresses to their closest regional league in the Eccellenza level. Depending on each league's local rules, a number of teams each year are relegated from each league, to the 7th level of Italian football, the Prima Categoria. This level of Italian football is completely amateur and is run on a regional level. Val Camonica or Valcamonica (), also Valle Camonica and anglicized as Camonica Valley, is one of the largest valleys of the central Alps, in eastern Lombardy, Italy. Lake Iseo
Lake Iseo or Iseo lake ( ; ; ), also known as Sebino (; ), is the fourth largest lake in Lombardy, Italy, fed by the Oglio River. It is in the north of the country in the Val Camonica area, near the cities of Brescia and Bergamo. The lake is almost equally divided between the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia. Northern Italy is known for its heavily industrialised towns and in between there are several natural lakes. Lake Iseo retains its natural environment, with its lush green mountains surrounding the crystal clear lake. There are several medieval towns around the lake, the largest being Iseo and Sarnico.
