Türk Telekom Basketbol Kulübü (English language, English: Turk Telekom Basketball Club) is a professional basketball team that is based in Ankara, Turkey. The team is currently playing in the Turkish Basketball Super League. It is a branch of the Türk Telekom GSK sports club. Their home arena is the Ankara Arena. The arena, which has a capacity of 10,400 seats, opened in April 2010. History The club was founded in 1954 and opened its basketball section as name of PTT in 1991. Thereafter, the team received name of Türk Telekom PTT in 1996. Recently, the team is continuing with the name of Türk Telekom. Türk Telekom has won the Turkish Cup Basketball, Turkish Cup title after beating Oyak Renault in 2008. Also, the team won the Turkish Basketball President's Cup, Turkish President's Cup title after beating Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball, Fenerbahçe Ülker that year. Basketbol Süper Ligi
The Basketball Super League (; TBSL), also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1967) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the Turkish Basketball First League, second-tier and Turkish Basketball Second League, third-tier divisions. The BSL is administered by the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) and is contested by 16 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams promotion and relegation, relegated to the second-tier TBL and replaced by the top two teams of that division. Anthony LeJohn Brown (born October 10, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for Türk Telekom of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He played college basketball for the Stanford Cardinal. High school career Brown attended Ocean View High School where he averaged 14.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game as a junior, while being named league MVP. Kyle John Solomon Alexander (born October 21, 1996) is a Canadian professional basketball player for Türk Telekom of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He played college basketball for the Tennessee Volunteers.
