Tõnis Mägi (born 18 November 1948 in Tallinn) is an Estonian singer, guitarist, composer and actor. He is one of the most influential and remarkable names in Estonian rock music of the past 40 years. Tõnis Mölder
Tõnis Mölder (born 9 October 1989) is an Estonian independent politician and member of the Riigikogu. Mölder was a member of Estonian Centre Party from 2008 to 2023, before joining conservative Isamaa in 2023, which he left in 2024, after he was declared a suspect in a bribery case. He was the Estonian Minister for the Environment from January 2021 until November of the same year when he resigned for personal reasons. Tõnis Rätsep (born 30 June 1947) is an Estonian actor, musician, educator, poet, and playwright. Early life and education Tõnis Rätsep was born in Viljandi, one of two children to a father who was a dairyman and a mother who worked in a dairy laboratory. The family later relocated to Rakvere, where he attended primary and secondary schools, graduating from Rakvere Secondary School No. 1 in 1965. Tõnis Kõiv (born 29 October 1970, in Paide) is an Estonian politician and lawyer who represented the Estonian Reform Party in the Riigikogu from 2005 to 2015. Tõnis Lukas (; born 5 June 1962) is an Estonian politician, former Minister of Culture from 2019 to 2021 and Minister of Education and Research from 1999 to 2002 and from 2007 to 2011. Tõnis Kimmel (born 22 January 1977 in Tallinn) is an Estonian architect. From 1984 to 1992 Tõnis Kimmel studied in the 7th Secondary School of Tallinn (today's Tallinn English College) and from 1992 to 1995 in the King Gustav Adolf's Grammar School. Tõnis Soop (July 27, 1937 – March 16, 2016) was an Estonian painter and teacher. Early life and education Tõnis Soop was born to Tõnis Soop (1889–1953) and Elli Soop (née Laderlich, 1905–1987) at the Kingu farm on the estate of Suure-Kõpu Manor. From 1952 to 1957, he studied at the Tartu School of Fine Arts, graduating as a teacher of drawing and sketching. Tõnis Kask (2 December 1929 – 27 August 2016) was an Estonian film and television director and screenwriter. Life and career Tõnis Kask was born in Tarvastu Parish, Viljandi County on 2 December 1929. In 1953 he graduated from Lunacharsky State Institute for Theatre Arts' (GITIS) Estonian studio. From 1961 he was the principal director and artistic leader of Tallinn Television Studio (part of Estonian Television). Tõnis Kasemets (born March 17, 1974) is an Estonian racing driver and a former competitor in the CART Champ Car World Series. He won the 2022 IMSA Prototype Challenge championship. Career Kasemets started racing karts in 1982, winning the Baltic championships in 1992 and 1993. In 1995, Kasemets moved to the United States to race in the American series. He advanced through the open wheel ranks and by 2004 was in the Toyota Atlantic series. In 2005 he placed second in the series championship to Charles Zwolsman Jr.. He participated in a partial 2006 schedule in the Champ Car World Series for Paul Gentilozzi's Rocketsports Racing. Tõnis Rotberg
Tõnis Rotberg (9 September 1882 in Viljandi Parish, Kreis Fellin, Governorate of Livonia – 24 July 1953 in Tayshet, Russian SFSR) was an Estonian general. Biography Rotberg was born in Viljandi and attended Vilnius military school to become an officer in the Imperial Russian Army, as Estonia at the time was part of the Russian Empire. He became a lieutenant in 1909. During the Estonian War of Independence, Rotberg became a lieutenant colonel in the Estonian Army and was the Head of Army Supplies between 1918 and 1938. In 1928, he was promoted to the rank of Major-General. In 1938–1940, Rotberg was Deputy Minister of War. On 21 June 1940, he was appointed Minister of War in Johannes Vares' cabinet after the occupation of the Baltic states by the Soviet Union. He held this position until the cabinet was replaced by the Council of People's Commissars of the Estonian SSR on 25 August 1940. He served as "Prime Minister in duties of the President" (in other words, Estonian head of state in exile) from 23 December 1970 to 1 March 1990.
