Täby IS
Täby IS is a Swedish cross-country skiing, track and field athletics and non-competitive floorball team from Täby outside Stockholm. The club has also had a football section which in 2012 merged with IFK Täby to form Täby FK. Background Täby IS's football section played its last season in Division 4 Stockholm Norra which is the sixth tier of Swedish football. They played their home matches at the Tibblevallen in Täby. Notable former Täby IS players include Kenneth Italiener, Magnus Eriksson, Andrés Thorleifsson, and Daniel Sundgren. They are now operating as Täby FK. Competitive cross-country skiing encompasses a variety of race formats and course lengths. Rules of cross-country skiing are sanctioned by the International Ski Federation and by various national organizations. Background Stockholms Fotbollförbund, commonly referred to as Stockholms FF, is the governing body for football in Stockholm County (except some peripherical municipalities). The Association was founded on 29 March 1917 when 49 teams registered with the organisation. In the last decade the number of senior clubs has been well over 500 clubs. Daniel Andreas Sundgren (born 22 November 1990) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Israeli Premier League club Maccabi Haifa and the Sweden national team. Magnus Eriksson (footballer, Born 1990)
Magnus Lennart Eriksson (born 8 April 1990) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Djurgårdens IF in Allsvenskan. Club career AIK Eriksson started his career in the academy at AIK. He was promoted to the first team in 2006 under the management of Rikard Norling. However Eriksson never appeared competitively for the club. After two seasons in 2006 and 2007 without any league appearances Eriksson was sent on loan to two geographically close clubs Akropolis IF, then in Division 2 and FC Väsby United then in Superettan. During these two loan spells Eriksson finally acquired playing time in league football. Väsby United eventually made the loan spell permanent in 2009. Eriksson spent an additional two seasons at the club. He scored 11 goals in 29 matches for the club during the 2010 Superettan season.
